“I am a disabled senior.. and had the good fortune to choose this Dennys to have breakfast on Sunday morning. I found disabled parking right at the door and was welcomed immediately I entered. My server was a wonderful young lady called Arleen. She had such a great smile. She was attentive without hovering, articulate and knowledgeable .My order off the seniors menu was a simple egg and bacon with toasted brioche bread. It came very quickly despite how busy it was.Totally delicious!What a pleasant surprise.. crispy bacon, egg done just right and lovely light and buttery brioche. Based on that experience a was persuaded to try a lava cake dessert. This is where the wheels wobbled and fell.The cake itself was hard and very dry. Despite the pretty presentation on a hot griddle, the chocolate within was hard and solid as a rock. No lava here! Because I had splashed out and paid over $8 for it, I stillate it by softening it all with the icecream on top. Food was delicious though our steak was a bit salty but dab in the sauce made it better. I had peppercorn steak and my wife had steak and lobster. The lobster part was good though it seemed smaller in comparison to what we had at the CC on Barlow Trail. We had Sunset Drink and I had a traditional ceesar both were great. And we had new York cheesecake for dessert. The ambience was nice though a little to dark lol. However we were celebrating our anniversary and Valentine's day today so it was nice. “I enjoyed my dinner here but I feel it could use some improvements. The hostess was amazing and the server was friendly but seemed nervous, got the specials mixed up and stood next to our table during down times which was awkward. The artichoke dip and bread was delicious but only came with 4 triangles for 4 people. 2/3 of the dip was left so we asked for more bread. Please ensure there are at least 2 pieces of break per person. We weren't sure how we were supposed to finish the dip The duck 2 ways was the star of the dinner. Beautifully cooked, gnocchi could be its own dish and veg and sauce was perfect. The stuffed chicken was cooked perfectly but the stuffing lacked flavour. The 2 other guests said you couldn't taste the ham or mushrooms. The potato pave was a nice change from the norm The tapioca dessert lacked flavour. The non tapioca parts were the best Ginger cake was amazing. Very refreshing with a lot of fruit. * note the table had trouble reading the dessert menu. You may be quick to say “are they dumb” but having the title on the right hand side and the ingredients underneath was an issue. Our senior with us thought the ingredients were different desserts as did someone with us with a learning disability. We can't be the only table with this issue. Drinks were good and great value compared to other places Overall I would come again when the menu changes. It's a great learning environment but definitely needs some tweaks“

“We went here on wing night on a Thursday and the food and service were both great. At no point did we have to wonder where our server was. They cleared any dishes right away and always asked us if we wanted another drink before they were empty. The space is set up decently with a nice layout, lots of TVs around and they have plenty of VLTs. My only criticism is that their windows are very small so there isn't much natural light. Overall, I will be going back.“

We were presented with menus, and informed of the FULL KETO MENU! WHAT? I've been on very low carb keto for months. And to my family, I am the most annoying person in the world. My choices at restaurants are very limited, and I whine loudly about that. A full keto menu? Apparently the only one like it in these parts. Everything you'd expect in pub food, but KETO. Now, this place also has a regular menu, for those of you who want to poison yourselves with empty carbs and sugars. Bless you. Laureen our server (who I suspect is also the owner given the pride she showed in her service and products) was a gem. She spent a inordinate amount of time with us explaining the menu and business model. The food was solid pub food, good quality. No complaints. Very good. The menu was the usual boring pub food, but we tried the deep fried mac and cheese appetizer and it was surprisingly good.The draft beer selection had a mix of BigBrew Inc. beers and some beers from local breweries Big Rock and Wild Rose. OK but not great.The music was too loud, the singer - guitarist was off key, unable to keep the rhythm and he and his guitar were so over-amped it was all just mud. The pub had cleared some tables to make a dance floor but in the hour we were there we saw nobody dance, probably because of the music which was also mostly tunes badly chosen for dancing.We'll be back, especially in summer, they have a great patio, and we can and do walk there and back.Unfortunately, it's another Calgary pub where management does a decent job on service, food and booze but thinks you want your ears blasted off with very loud bad music.“
