“The best Filipino restaurant in the city!Now I see why this restaurant has received numerous awards.The food was delicious! I had the chicken inasal. Chicken was tender with a BBQ char on the outside. The sauce was a nice mix of sweet and spicy and they gave a generous amount of rice.One of my sides was the Amihan rice. It had a light blend of spices that didn’t overpower the taste of the chicken.There are plenty of food options for you to choose from. Anywhere from authentic Filipino dishes to a cheese burger. You can also purchased baked goods to take home.I’m surprised now cheap the food is! A standard meal with tip is still cheaper than a meal at a fast food joint.It’s a smaller restaurant but it had plenty of space between the tables. It was clean and tidy with murals and artificial plants on the walls as decor.Service was on point! My server was Bee Jay. He was highly attentive to my large group and got out the food and water quickly! He was kind and helpful with any questions we had. I hope to have him again because I will definitely be visiting in the future (there was another girl who helped him out but she was great too!).“

“As a celiac I was very surprised that they had a Gluten free menu which was great and so many options still to choose from. I wish they had mentioned that accommodation on their website and I would've come sooner. On the higher end of prices but left feeling super full and satisfied . Will be back soon!“

“Just finished having lunch at their new location in Southland crossing on the lounge side with their new lounge menu. I think they are open for lunch now throughout the week. Excellent light meal choices and sharing snacks with very reasonable prices. We had the Brazilian flat bread and a couple snack items, the fried pork belly and some stuffed chicken bites with a great cheese sauce. I would highly recommend going, excellent food, place looks great and remarkable service.“
“We tried this Korean fried chicken after a friend suggested it. Absolutely delicious! The bone in spicy chicken was the right amount of heat and crunchy but not over breaded.The mala hot boneless chicken has very tasty sauce and is a definitely a bit spicier but not fire hot maybe because we also purchased the cheesling boneless chicken which had a mild cheese dusting on top.I always hesitate with boneless chicken as I find them on the drier side but these have forever changed my tune as they are moist and flavourful.The fancy fries are good but we tried the regular fries with garlic mayo dipping sauce and they were also a hit.Sooo good and worth every dollar!!!!“

“Amazing barbeque and beer at this great downtown hotspot!! I just wanted to let you guys know what an amazing meal we had last Saturday night when we were visiting with my daughter and son-in-law. The atmosphere was rocking as it was very busy with fans grabbing a great meal and a beer before the flames game, but the food and service were amazing! I just loved the pulled pork and pasta salad that I had and that cornbread was sublime. I loved the great craft beer selection as well. You totally need to open a location in Toronto!!“
“Braden and his team were great! The food was outstanding. We had prime rib, chicken, Cesar salad, macaroni & cheese and potatos and it was all so good. We have had many great comments from all our guests. we ordered extras so we could offer seconds and people did not hesitate. would 100% recommend. “Standard issue Korean BBQ joint. Not convinced it was a $290 meal including tip (3 adults & 1 child— ordered combo for 4). Banchan was plentiful, but could have done with less MSG in the kimchi. Hard to fail at service when there’s a call button. Not sure I’ll be back— could have had much better meals at this price point elsewhere.“
“I ordered catering for 30 people from Janes for the first time despite it just being just a couple blocks down from my work. I have to say, it was a hit all around! There are so many options for many dietary preferences. Even the vegetarians were thrilled! Many people commented on the beans specifically being delicious and having a nice zip to it. The caesar salad was authentic. My only regret was not ordering enough brisket as it was eaten up so quickly I never got to try it. Easy to order, Catering team was great. delivery was on time. All in all, great service.“
“Unique meal experience, also great ramen!Came here for ramen, but got the bonus of the unique "do-it-yourself" grilling of meats over a fire.This created a cozy atmosphere, on top of probably some of the freshest meats you can get (as you literally cook it and eat it immediately).The ramen was also delicious and very reasonably priced.All in all I would definitely recommend going here at least once, for a unique experience that is also properly priced!“

The Deer run location has a very welcoming, warm and calm environment during the later evening and is perfect for a delicious stress free dinner after a long day. The food is also absolutely amazing for BBQ lovers, it is all so good! Our server Cam was absolutely phenomenal! She was consistently on the ball with our orders and drink refills and had a very upbeat energy that adds to the quality of my experience at Big T's deer run location.“

“Really great atmosphere, good music, good service. I think food is kind of inconsistent and is better some days than others and portions can be small for the price. I also think the beer is too cold. The frosty glasses are so cold that the head turns into ice and the flavour of the beer is altered. It's also winter, so a chilled glass after coming in from the cold, doesn't really have the same effect as it might on a hot day.“

“New Review 04/14/2024: Everyone is nice and friendly, food is delicious, and service is bomb! I’ve been ordering from this location probably for the last 4 or 5 years now? Since 2019! I came for the chicken, and stayed for the cheese fries! Everything is delicious. Staff is very friendly, so I’ve been dining in lately. I used to do takeout, but it’s cheaper and more pleasant with dine-in. Honestly? You can’t go wrong with whatever you decide to eat, everything is delicious. Ah, their k-dogs are out of this world too, I love the k-mozza especially.10/10, and it’s nice because you can get dessert next door!“
“For some outstanding Texas BBQ in lively, Kensington neighborhood check out Hayden Block Smoke and Whiskey. The signatures at Hayden are brisket, pork spare ribs and beef short rib. As a side, the green beans are a healthy yet tasty option. Not surprisingly, there is also an impressive selection of whisky (Canadian, Scottish, Irish, American, Japanese) at Hayden, with their american whiskies being the most interesting. Their smoked old fashioned is the most popular cocktail on the menu - for my palate I preferred it with Michter’s rye and half the amount of sugar syrup. For those who prefer staying near 17th ave, there is Comery Block, which offers the Tennessee rendition of BBQ.“

The food was all hot and ready on time and was absolutely amazing! We had numerous guests comment that it was the best wedding food they ever had! The food variety was excellent! We had brisket, pulled pork, and chicken which were all very flavourful and cooked perfectly! The sides were mac and cheese, warm potato salad, baked beans and coleslaw. My favourite was the potato salad, but they were all amazing! They went above and beyond to accommodate a dietary restriction by finding something for a vegan guest. They get really busy so make sure you can make a reservation beforehand.The service was great and they made sure we had everything we needed.The food is good but I would recommend trying some other dishes without the spice they add to some of them.I understand that's the style of grill but after two or three meats they kind of taste the same with it, so make sure to ask the server not to add it to some items. The best item we tried was their beef short ribs, and surprisingly the green pepper was really good too.Other than that, the place is awesome and totally recommend it.“

“I use to come here quite often when I was younger with my parents, from what I remember then, they did not do charcuterie style. I saw some post from friends last year about getting charcuterie style from here and I had to place an order. I ended up ordering to take this to my nieces birthday party. It was a hit. I then went to the pub and grill next door and they assisted me in reaching the proprietor of 80 ATE.... When the proprietor took a long time I decided to stay for a beer. Classic fried is also good if you are looking for a less-saltier option.My personal favourite is secret sauced and cheesling chickens. They are really delicious and great for a party or to share with your friends. And if you are looking for a healthy meal option rather than fries, they also serve a range of good Korean cuisine food from Ddukbokki to grilled chicken over rice, my second favourite.I would also love to mention that their customer service is very friendly and good. “At the begining of February 2023, I reached out to Moose Mcquires to help a bunch of nurses, doctors & allied health staff at Foothills celebrate one of our charge nurses, who loves wings. They were able to offer us a very great deal for a bulk order, I realized they would not be making money on drink sales as it was takeaway, so it was very very generous. Nowhere in the surrounding Brentwood area came close to showing us this very kind gesture. I regularly go for Tuesday Wing Night but my favorite Thursday Burger Night, cannot be beat. “I went to Calgary for a weekend and this place was close to my hotel. First place I went to and turned out to be the only place I went to. Words cannot describe how amazing their food is. The Gutbuster was amazing. Their coleslaw was devine. Their gravy? I dare say the best I ever tried. The chili was great. Service was amazing and quick and everyone was very nice. I even got food to take back to Toronto with me because I couldn't get enough.This is, in my opinion, one of the best places in Canada. The only sad thing is not having it here in Toronto“

“We did not have reservations when we arrived. However, we were quickly seated at a table and provided at a walkthrough of the menu by the staff. Staff was very attentive and took our order quickly. We did not do all you can eat. Instead we ordered the wagyu a la cart along with a side order of fried chicken.Overall the quality of the meats in the wagyu combo was quite nice and I think better than some of the competing restaurants in the area. As the combo itself was under $200, don't expect the meat to be A4 or A5 high-end Japanese cuts. They are still quite enjoyable nonethelessThe combo came with two shrimp skewers which were delicious.Some feedback for the restaurant: Egg souffle had really good texture. However, we found it overly salty and was not enjoyable. Furthermore, we noticed that the entire restaurant got quite smoky despite the individual hood fans over top the grills. If the hood fans have different modes, I would suggest turning up the fans a bit more as it will make the dining experience more enjoyable.“
