Calan beef is Calgary Local owned! Let's support them!They have a small place, however it's really nice and cozy.The hand pulled noodles is so fresh! I like how they serve it is a glass bowl. Don't get fooled with the size because they give you lots of noodles. Because of which, there is not much soup. You can ask for extra broth. Which they will give you. And it's actually just right. We had some delicious beef noodles for lunch at Calan Beef Noodle. We ordered Combo A that comes with beef shanks/ seasonal appetizer and tea flavour boiled egg. We chose the thick noodles to go with the (1) Hand Pulled Noodle in Beef Soup and some flat & wide noodles to go with the (2) Hand Pulled Noodle with Pickled Sour Mustard in Beef Soup. I just love it!Calan - it's 2 words merged into 1 cal for calgary and Lan for Lan Zhou. I didnt know I was chatting with the owner. Her husband is from Lan Zhou. This means they know their stuff! That is huge! If you want authentic! Come and support locally owned business!Price is like $15 or $16 don't look at rhe bowl size. Coz it's pack with noodles.
