So, all in all, dining at Daruma was a blast. Authentic Japanese food, a chef who's got serious skills and passion - it all made for a meal I won't forget anytime soon. Highly recommend chicken karage, they are to die for! If you're up for a killer Japanese food experience, you've gotta check out Daruma.
This is a lovely little restaurant with kind and caring staff who make delicious sushi. All the other dining patrons and folks picking up take-out orders all seemed to express the same sentiments we felt, that being genuine gratitude. It’s easy to understand why this restaurant’s star count is highest amongst Sushi restaurants in Calgary. Thank you for the lovely evening!

Cute neighborhood sushi spot. Incredibly friendly and fast service. Sushi is the most fresh I’ve had in a long time. 100% recommend this place. Looking forward to trying out the ramen and udon dishes!
