Absolutely fabulous katsu that you have to try in Calgary. Not that I've had katsu several times at katsu restaurants in Japan, but Koji Katsu serves just amazing katsu that offers different levels of crispiness like each piece of panko stands out in your mouth but also melts gently. This katsu restaurant is quite quaint and cozy, so space and seating are quite limited. The portions are huge so you may end up with leftovers. I had the classic pork sirloin katsu and it was really good. The meat was juicy and tender while the outside was crispy and crunchy. This place does close quite early versus other restaurants, so that is something to keep in mind. I'm getting hungry again writing this review and can't wait to visit again.

first time tried to go was closed and second time went they sold out early and thus closed early. great katsu, curry was a hit, and same for ebi ten don. classic set nice with the cabbage and sesame dressing as expected. didn't like the cheese one as much, kinda overpowering
