Discovered this gem today on a coworkers recommendation.Jerry and Joe are two of the sweetest humans I have met in a while. I took home 4 different sandwiches and their house made triple chocolate gelato.Each sandwich was completely unique in its own right, and were all fantastic. This will be my new go to spot in Calgary for lunch. Joe’s special with a little bit of heat added was my favourite.
So, I started a new job and my office is right in the heart of Kensington! Today I decided to treat myself and took myself out for lunch, I found myself at Peppino on Kensington Road. Fresh made on the spot, the sandwich I ordered did Not disappoint, the bun, meats, sauces, all of it was seriously on point!! Excellent sandwiches from this Italian deli. You have your choice of white or brown bread. Would highly recommend the Joe's Special and the Prosciutto. Add some roasted red peppers to the Prosciutto especially. Their lunch specials are decent as well, I usually try it if it's pasta, which is decent. But it's the sandwiches that steal the spotlight in this deli. Has a few tables and stools inside. Service is always great.
