“Food was great but the atmosphere was a bit off. Battle of alberta game and UFC this night. 5 TVs were UFC, 1 flames game and 1 golf from our vantage point. It took 20 minutes for them to put an additional TV to thr Flames game. Otherwise a great night.Wheelchair accessibility: Ramp up to the bar, elevator in the parkade.“
“Parking: Parking is tough. Getting there early means people who work in the neighborhood will be taking up all the spots (which makes sense). Getting there late means the people you stand in line behind will have taken your spots. Having said that, these are the best wings in the city so figure it out yourself.“
“I cannot say enough about Hannah!! This girl took all 8 of our orders without writing a single thing down and didn’t skip a beat!! We ordered more food and once again it was on point! She remembered everything! The kitchen was also fantastic as the food was delicious!! Honestly one of the best experiences at any restaurant we’ve ever had! Thanks guys for a great dinner!“
“Great burgers, great service. Owner was our server and very friendly. Burgers are highly recommended if you are a burger person, and much like the menu suggests "don't be discouraged by the color of the burgers". Very flavorful and cooked to perfection. Lunch a Tuesday wasn't busy at all so it was great to pop in quickly and go on with our day. PouPoutine was ok, not the best tasting gravy I've had.Parking: Can fill up fast because of other businesses in the area.Wheelchair accessibility: Barrier free entry at the main door.“
“The sushi was delicious especially the spicy California Roll, I really liked the teriyaki Chicken and the Korrokke was to die for. The service was great friendly and very helpful in choosing the right dish for those who want recommendations. They have very comfortable seats with good space between the tables, the atmosphere is welcoming and relaxed. I highly recommend visiting this awesome restaurant.“

I can understand being confused about where you can and can’t go with your kids.Any pub that has VLT’s can’t have children.Any pub that doesn’t have VLT’s should be able to children until 8pm.It’s disrespectful to take out your understanding about your new rules as a parent on an establishment obeying the laws.I found the food, staff and environment thoroughly enjoyable and will definitely be returning.Added personal bonus is my favourite beer on tap..lol“

It's cozy with a nice atmosphere, and the happy hour specials are amazing.All servers and bartenders are very nice and I'm never left waiting too long.Only minor critique is the food. I'm a vegetarian so I usually just get the beyond burger or nachos - the beyond burger is nice and juicy, but the nachos are often layered oddly with most of the ingredients at the bottom and the tomatoes making the bottom layer soggy.Will absolutely keep coming here though, it's nice to have such a cozy little pub in the area. Decent beer selection too. Their house lager is the Phillips Tilt, and they have a good rotating craft selection.“
“We booked in the HI X press 8th Ave. next door unaware of Billy's and the Comedy Cave. We had occasion to frequent this establishment a few times during our week in Calgary. We found it comfortable, friendly and the pizza... best we've had! There are "regulars" that frequent this bar daily. Good folk after a hard day's labour and they are "colorful!" As I said, it isn't "Cheers" but I thought I saw "Norm" at one of the tables as "Sam", I mean Jimmy served him. ? Keep your attitude in check and you will enjoy this bar! Also, the adjoining Comedy Cave is worth checking out.“
“Good food! It's not as salty as the chain restaurant's food, which I really appreciated it. Dry ribs and wings were good. Beer was chilled enough for drinking when it is cold outside. Summer, I hope beer is colder as I like a really cold beer!“

“89th Birthday Party!! She wasn't the only one surprised!! We were Blown away with Farrah and her Team. We had 25 people,drinks food fun you name it!! The Pizzas were Fantastic, Beef Dip was out of this world along with the Burgers! Brier was our server...she didn't miss a beat. The whole team made sure we had everything we needed and then some! We definitely thought the bill would look a lot diffrent...prices are so reasonable! If that doesn't tell you something...we were there from 1-5. The regulars were packing the place up. Calgary’s first ever neighborhood pub lives up to the billing and beyond with a great atmosphere, unbeatable beer specials, and a wide menu that has incredible depth. “How do I put this? This is the absolute best pizza we have had in years. At least twice a week, my spouse says.. TOPS?!?! And I know exactly what he means when he says that one word lol. We ordered lastnight and I think it says a lot when the next morning there isn’t even one slice remaining. “At the begining of February 2023, I reached out to Moose Mcquires to help a bunch of nurses, doctors & allied health staff at Foothills celebrate one of our charge nurses, who loves wings. They were able to offer us a very great deal for a bulk order, I realized they would not be making money on drink sales as it was takeaway, so it was very very generous. Nowhere in the surrounding Brentwood area came close to showing us this very kind gesture. I regularly go for Tuesday Wing Night but my favorite Thursday Burger Night, cannot be beat. The servers are all very kind & personable. Mooses is a great environment with the sports, music, pool tables and fire. Thanks again, for being such a great addition to our neighbourhood!“

And try My servers' Gin Ceasars ..yum!My server Janna/Jenna is always Amazing!The Atmosphere can be touch and go, the VLTs are only 5 in number AND some customers hog and or play more than one at a time leaving others not able to enjoy. Karoke night was OK but the crowd needs to get into it more imho!Game nights cool, superbowl was good, and local talent nights are alright. Definitely a place for good wings/food and good service!“
“This a bar close to downtown that seems consistently fairly busy. They have a wing night on Wednesday's with tons of great options. When I was here the wings were cooked perfectly and were very tasty. It always helps to share a meal with good company as well. There are VLTs and a pool table. The customers can be a bit loud and rambunctious, but it is still a decent spot for wings.“

Even better when you have a gluten allergy and you're able to order regular dishes off the menu that blow you away!! Having lived in the UK and in British Columbia, we are very familiar with Indian cuisine as a go-to night out or take-out. We had no idea the Indian dishes in this place would be some of the best we've had in years!! We shared the Coconut Shrimp Curry, Chicken Tikka Masala, and the Mango Chicken and we couldn't decide on our favourite. All were sensational. Staff were also really helpful about gluten issues. “$11 for a small order of sweet potato fries was a bit excessive, was there watching horse races for 3 hours and seen my server twice, waited 25 minutes after asking for my bill. I suggest if you wait more then 15 you should probably just leave. Atmosphere was good, races were good, service bad.“
“Friendly staff. Lots of comfy seats and pool tables. Tvs for sports and a pretty good food selection. More of a working guys bar after work kind of thing. Weekly drink specials and daily food specials as well. Our server and bartender were courteous and friendly. The ladies also wear some sexy outfits if that's your thing. Had fun!“
“Home and away Calgary. What a venue. The music doesn't miss. The chicken wings are easily the best in the city (I had them 4 times, I can say this with confidence). The beer selection is incredible. The vibe is added to by the great staff, shoutout Gaby especially, all the staff go out of their way to make sure you're comfortable. 10/10.“
“It's kinda in the hood it's dimly lit but it's very pub atmospheric. Get the pizza you can never go wrong. It is pricey, but it's one of the things in life. You spend the money on it, you will enjoy it. You can't substitute some subpart place with just as good because it won't be anywhere close to it.“

“Met up with four friends for lunch today, March 17, 2024. I had the Yorkie skillet. It's basically a Yorkie bowl with mashed potatoes, mushrooms, braised beef, gravy or jus, green onions, cheddar cheese and crispy onion straws inside. It was very good but had a lot going on. I think I would have preferred to have little Yorkies with the beef, mushrooms and gravy with the rest on the side. I ate every bit though and was stuffed. Service was great and it was quite busy. They even had a gentleman walk through playing the bagpipes so that was a nice touch for St. Patrick's Day. It was freezing in the restaurant though and pretty dark.“
“I’ve been here a few times. The food and atmosphere is good. Try the 2515 as it is a good beer and is always cold for a great price. They have two wing nights a week as well as many specials all week long. Maddy is amazing and makes you want to come back. She is a great host/server and is great at taking care of her customers.
