Interior is more or less the standard western-japanese restaurant, menu is standard and not much creativity, but the good that comes out is quite high quality.I don't really have a reason to come back unfortunately since there are more interesting places to go for sushi.

The best Japanese restaurant in all of edmonton. They serve the best quality of sashimi and treat the ingredients with respect. Flavour profile is very clean and refreshing. A lot of restaurants will cover the “fishiness” of seafood with sauce, but Sakana skillfully tames that taste with yuzu and light wasabi.Their lunch and dinner bento box is well worth your money. Where should I start? My husband and I love sushi. And we were introduced to Sakana a few years back. As we live at least 2 hours away, every time we're in the city we stop by. and we do go in the city....at least twice a month. Never disappointed. Awesome sushi, sashimi or rolls, you name it. And what I love the most: always fresh. We always go back, again, and again, and again...
