“This place was incredible. We had a large group of people and had our own private room. We were served family style for 6 courses of food including dessert and it was absolutely incredible. The waitresses were nothing but amazing and even laughed with us at jokes as we poked our team around the table. They were complete professionals and I would not hesitate to go back. What an incredible experience and the food was the best seafood I have had in years.Price was good, food was better and I will definitely go back.“
“Was pleasantly surprised by the great service here! We were seated right away on a busy Saturday night, our appetizer (salt & pepper wings) came out so fast and were nice and fresh just could have been a little more seasoned. The blackened salmon was cooked to perfection and the garlic mash was great. The pizza was also good and our waitress was fantastic and so kind. Highly recommend!“
“I try to eat vegan and I went here thinking I was definitely going to eat meat or at the very least fish. I was so surprised they had two vegan dishes on the menu. I decided to try the shepherds pie. It was delicious! I’m definitely going back to try the meatloaf!“
“Adam has been our server at another restaurant many times he has always been so pleasant and engaging. We would consider ourselves his regulars. When we found out he was working at the "Black Pearl" it was a no brainer where I wanted to celebrate my birthday.Food & cocktails were AMAZING!! Service always INCREDIBLE!!! Most of all it felt like meeting a friend to celebrate! Thank you Adam for making my birthday special.Amanda & Blair Grove“
“Great food the quality was great the portions were excellent and the taste was amazing!! The server was also amazing checking on us regularly and getting us our stuff in a short time frame! The atmosphere was exciting and the restaurant was very nice and exceptionally clean and well maintained. I absolutely enjoyed everything about the keg and loved the renovations it had done!!!“
“Amazing food, sincere service & beautiful atmosphere. I'd recommend the lamb shank (I'm not usually a lamb person but their's is delicious!!) & the om ali (warm bread pudding). Thanks Pharaoh's for a wonderful dining experience!“
“One of the best popeyes I have ever been in, the food is fresh and super juicy and good, the dine in area is well cleaned and well maintained, the bathrooms are even better because of how clean they keep them. Super great people working there super nice and treat you very good. I 100% recommend this popeyes here.“
“I always go to ribeye to get my steaks and I went yesterday and saw they have a grill menu and I was intrigued so I came back today to try it out , I had no clue what to get, but Max came out and handled everything great, helped me settle on burgers and a side of dirty fires that were delicious. Highly reccomend this place if you are looking for a great burger!, and if max is working go see him ! He’s a bright young lad who obviously enjoys what he does and will cook you up an amazing burger! Great service all and all.10/10“
“My mother-in-law loves seafood and we wanted to treat her to a special meal for her birthday. We were not disappointed! Excellent quality and delicious food, and the atmosphere was great. Brendan answered all of our questions and was very attentive. Thanks so much to Brendan and the downtown team for their awesome service!“
“Definitely the best Chinese restaurant in Edmonton. Flavours are fantastic, staff are friendly and the restaurant is clean and welcoming. This is an underrated and undefeated spot for Chinese food and always will be ! HIGHLY recommend the Mongolian beef, Korean chicken and Szechuan noodles. We get them every time and they’re always 10/10.“
“Lucky Kitchen is one of our favourite restaurant in Edmonton to get some authentic Chinese food and dimsum. They have both Chinese and English menu and that makes ordering food so much easier, especially with pictures of the dishes shown clearly. We like to go after peak hours (on weekdays) so the place will be quiet and not so crowded. Staffs are friendly and are quick to serve the customers. The dishes we ordered were delicious, not too oily. Some of our favourites are Shanghai Noodles, Deep Fried Taro Dumplings with Pork, Steamed Dumplings, Steamed Beef Tripe, Seafood/ Chicken Chow Mein, Seafood Fried Rice and Salted Egg Yolk Cream Buns. Looking forward to try some other dishes next time like Durian Pastry and Steamed Curry Squid!“
“If you're anything like me, when you're in the mood to go for Vietnamese food, there are no shortages of Vietnam restaurants available in Edmonton to satisfy your cravings. My wife and I are no strangers to many of these restaurants because it's one of our staples at least several times a month. Each restaurant has its own unique dish(es) so if you're anything like me, I take note of what dish each place is famous for...(at least to me and my wife). Hands down, the spring rolls will be Golden Bird. Salad Rolls would be Siam Thai Restaurant, but in this case, we decided we wanted Pho. And the best place to go for Pho, is Calgary Trail Restaurant in Edmonton. When you first walk in the decor is exactly the same as it was some 20 years ago, so it does need to be updated, but I don't come for the atmosphere...I come for exceptionally good food at a price that is totally fair for what you get. The gentleman who owns the establishment is always very quiet but when you get him talking he's really quite funny. I automatically ordered their very special Vietnamese iced coffee to start. If you haven't tried it before then you're in for a treat. Each restaurant uses their own espresso blend but Calgary Trail Restaurant uses (in my opinion) the best, which makes it outstanding. My wife on the other hand ordered the 3 colors Vietnamese drink. A traditional coconut based concoction that uses red bean and grass jelly, which creates a kaleidoscope of colors in your glass. It's really quite delicious. We invited 2 other friends to join us and I ordered the spring rolls and salad rolls to get the evening off to a good start. My wife ordered the very unusual Dill Fish Cake soup. She described her soup as a delicate but flavorful broth, that came with tender fish cake patties infused with a wonderful dill flavor. She absolutely loved it. I ordered my usual... number 118. Sweet and sour soup with Shrimp and Chicken. This place absolutely knocks this soup out of the park. With the sweet chunks of tomato and pineapple combined with spicy chicken broth with good sized prawns and chunks of chicken breast. A real satisfying meal that makes you leave nothing in the bowl at the end. It's so delicious, that it will be a soup that not only satisfies you but it literally nourishes the soul. It's our go to place when we want great food in a virtually quiet atmosphere. This place should be packed but unfortunately it never is. This is one place that will give you value for your hard earned money. So I suggest anyone reading this should patronize Calgary Trail Restaurant. If not, we may lose a hidden gem forever.“
“You don't have to be British to love the menu at Winston's. Huge delicious entrees, served very quickly piping hot and so good. Friendly atmosphere, efficient staff, cozy decor, and just the best. I'll be over for a good feed again soon.“
“Went for my 60th Birthday. My wife has dietary restrictions which the server and management took seriously. I am often critical of the food but absolutely no complaints! Started with calamari. It was ok. Ordered the prime rib, rare, with add on shrimp skewer, garlic mashed. Portion size was impressive, done as requested and shrimp perfectly cooked. One of the best prime rib I have had! Only ONE COMPLAINT- they have the dullest steak knives i have ever used. I requested a second and it was not much better! So full had no room for dessert. I will definitely go back. Just bring my own steak knife next time.Dietary restrictions: My wife is celiac with dairy and potatoe, squash family intolerances. The management took the time to understand and offer suggestions. She had the pistachio crusted salmon with vegetables she could have and a great side salad. Well prepared and tasty meal! It was nice to leave after the meal for her not being concerned she would have a reaction to what was prepared!“
“Met the Sunny the soon to be Chief he recommended we try the smoked strip loin and the prime rib. This was hands down the best meal we ever ate! Thank you everyone for making this a great experience. Would highly recommend this restaurant!“
“Love me some Bei Wei. Of course, I have certain things I love, such as the lobster dumplings and my new fav the green beans with dried or fried small fish I believe. I was worried it was going to be fishy it isnt . It has onions which goes well with the beans and fish. Most people who go to Bei wei are of Asian descent, so they may also know this is a good place (wink). More authentic dishes are the way to go here, although their ginger beef is pretty good. They have dim sum at lunchtime by the way. Not a big menu for dim sum, but like I said loooooove the lobster, which, by the way is shrimp dumplings. Named lobster I think for the shape, maybe. I am there alot!“
“Ordered delivery from here and food came hot and fresh which I was concerned about. I got the 4 shrimp your way and to start The shrimp linguini is a top notch pasta dish I had that with the new salt and vinegar shrimp absolutely amazing and the Coconut Shrimp is to die for its amazing, then my final one was popcorn shrimp which is a classic. The food here is top notch and I'd definitely recommend it especially the 4 shrimp your way cause you get so much delicious shrimp.“
“Great restaurant, cozy atmosphere, fantastic service, amazing oysters, steak, drinks, dessert. Highly recommend!!!Vegetarian options: Lots of veggie based side dishes.Dietary restrictions: I was able to order dry aged ribeye cooked with only butter and salt and get a side of fresh butter.“
“Our friend in Edmonton recommended for us to try some authentic Vietnamese food at this Co Chin Saigon Restaurant. We decided to drop by for lunch as we were hungry for some Pho Noodles. We ordered Papaya Salad (shredded green papaya topped with roasted peanuts… this has fresh flavours and crunchy textures with sweet savoury dressing and chillies on the side), Pho Noodle Soup (medium rare beef, brisket and meatballs with freshly prepared broth), Spicy Bun Bo Pho Noodles (spicy beef noodle soup with sliced beef brisket, beef shank, pork boneless rolled shank, cube of congealed pork blood [we requested not to have this item in our soup] and topped with spicy lemon grass sauce. We also ordered Bun Thit Nuong Cha Gio (grilled lemongrass pork, homemade pork spring rolls with cucumbers, lettuce and pickle, roasted peanuts and green onions). Everything tasted delicious and appetizing!“
“Met the Sunny the soon to be Chief he recommended we try the smoked strip loin and the prime rib. This was hands down the best meal we ever ate! Thank you everyone for making this a great experience. Would highly recommend this restaurant!“
“Omg so so good!!! Ordered delivery and it came in 20 minutes. Food was so fresh and flavorful!! The meat was great quality, not chewy or fatty. Prices were fair. This is absolutely my new go to Chinese food place ??? (only thing missing was the fortune cookies but the food is so good it dosnt matter)“
“I recently had the pleasure of visiting Clementine, a fantastic cocktail bar in Edmonton. The ambiance was charming, creating the perfect setting for a night out. The cocktails were not only creatively crafted but also exceptionally delicious. A specialty shout-out to the talented bartender, Stephen, whose expertise and friendly demeanor elevated our experience. His recommendations were spot-on, showcasing a deep understanding of mixology. The attention to detail and passion for crafting unique drinks truly set Clementine apart. If you're looking for a memorable night with exceptional cocktails and outstanding service, Clementine is the place to be. Can't wait to visit again!“
“We have been to the Keg many times and the service and food is usually excellent. Unfortunately the food this visit was poor. Both steaks were tough and not enjoyable, one so tough that it was left for the garbage. The Keg has always been a family favourite so hopefully this was a one time disappointment. We will try again someday and hope for better food quality.“
“It's been such a long time since I last went to Vons. But tonight, when I stepped into their "new" Jasper location, they really reminded me of why I used to love going there. My girlfriend had never been to Vons so I wanted to take her out on a special date night. She very much enjoyed the night and will likely come back with her friends. Alan, our server, was very much enjoyable to speak with and professional. Would definitely come back because of him and the food.Unfortunately the table adjacent to us wasn’t really fond with their service. I will say this, this is not your typical franchise steakhouse. Be prepared to spend some $. The behavior exhibited by the guests was utterly appalling and reeked of a sense of entitlement because of THEIR mistake. I really have to disagree with the idea that the customer is always right. It's just not accurate in my opinion. In any situation, it's crucial to consider multiple perspectives before passing judgment. I highly recommend giving Vons Steakhouse a try before making any conclusions.Parking: Paid surface lot on the south side of building. There is also street parking available during certain times. Near by parkades if you would like to park underground.“
“CHOP West Edmonton does not disappoint when it comes to their service and the food that they give. Their Oven Roasted Chicken is I would say a unique dish that I keep on coming back for.Thank you for your attentive and welcoming service! Will be back soon for sure for more.“
