I've been in 29 different countries in Europe and the lunch I had today was simply one of the most authentic Gyro plates I've ever had. Quick and friendly service too! Small dine in area is now open.

I'm so glad I found this place because the food is delicious and Antonio is a very down to earth, kind and generous owner. The Mousaka is very good as well as the meatloaf/salad/bread/spinach pastry, ect...I recently tried the Melomakarona for the first time and it blew my sweet tooth away! I definitely recommend this place and I'm definitely proud to be a regular and support this restaurant..

I really liked the Gyro dinner. Really authentic so tasty! I even liked the salad. I ordered through the Yelp app very easy and quick preparation during rush hour. I will definitely order here again.

They are currently doing take out only. The pastitio is good, very close to what you get in Athens. Large portions. I was pleased.

Tasty Greek food. Try the soups and bread! The sweets are good, too. The cookies taste fabulous.

The dessert we picked up to go was absolutely delicious! A cream (custard) filled Baklava! However, the Cafe Bakery was all blocked off inside (because of covid). So you couldn't sit down and eat there. Looked like a cute place to meet someone for dessert & coffee if it were still set up pre-covid!!!

A hole in the wall mom and pop place to its very bones. The Greek salad is very Greek- chunks of tomato, cucumber, and feta over leaf lettuce with oil drizzle. The greek potatoes and vegetarian dolmades are my all time favorite- especially when they're eaten while still warm. Yum.For the gyro, I'd recommend ordering extra tzatziki as the pita is thick and can make the sandwich a bit dry. I thought the meat was good but it has a subtle flavor. My husband wished it had more meat, but I don't eat a lot of meat to begin with so I thought it was the perfect amount. If your preference is a lot of meat then ask for it while ordering. The sweet cashier gave us free Greek Easter bread as well which warmed my heart. Excited to try other things next time!Vegetarian options: Vegetarian dolmades are available if you ask. Greek salad and spanakopita are Vegetarian as well. The potatoes were my favorite!

We had been wanting to try this restaurant for years and finally got it. They put onions in my dish despite me saying “no onions”, The orzo and lamb were both way over cooked, and there were only 4 small pieces of lamb in the whole meal. They also put way too much cinnamon in the dish; we thought they had added desert to our order. The Greek salad was pretty much just an ordinary side salad with a few bits of feta and almost no salad dressing.

The Gyro was not fresh. And I asked the owner about the feta and tomato pizza so he pointed to it on the menu, but it was definitely not what I got. Overall, the food was premade and cold, and it was a far cry from how great it used to be before COVID.

The food is always amazing, and the pastries are arguably the best ive ever had. Can't go wrong with any item on the menu.

The owner of the bakery is extremely kind and a great baker! Thank you Antonios, the baklava was ? ?‍ ? This is a bakery that shouldn’t be missed while in Anchorage.

The baklava was absolutely amazing. It was larger than most that I've seen, and it was flakey and sweet. Very good, I recommend.

Everything was delicious except I got the Gyro plate and the pita was too thick and falling apart upon delivery, I don't believe I would enjoy it even if I ate there.

Moussaka is one of my favorite comfort foods. I grew up in multiple places that had greek populations and knew the flavors. I was talking to some people and despite my assumption that Alaska wouldn't have it, they informed me there were a couple of places that did. I decided to try Antonio's and it was a good choice. They are currently not serving food in the establishment but you can call ahead or go for carry-out. They have pastries, made fresh, and the food seemed to be made fresh too. The plate came with greek salad, bread, moussaka, and roasted potatoes for $20. The serving size was enough for two people so I had leftovers. Nice gentlemen, from Tarpon Springs, (one of the places I lived near to), and the flavor was the same. I would recommend supporting this local business and enjoying the food and traditions he is maintaining here in Alaska.
