Jackie's Place Restaurant offers a cozy ambiance with friendly and warm service from the waitress, as always. The menu boasts a good variety of options to choose from, catering to diverse tastes. While most of the food was enjoyable, the steak was a little bit of a letdown, being overcooked and overly seasoned, which overshadowed the natural flavors of the meat. However, the eggs were expertly prepared and the spam was a delightful savory treat that satisfied my palate.Overall, Jackie's Place Restaurant is a decent cafe with a bustling crowd. Despite some misses in the food department, it's worth a try if you're in the area and looking for a comfortable spot to dine.

I love this place. The menue is very large but easy to navigate. Prices are great and the food is not only full of flavor its also hot and fresh every time.I love siting and eating and hearing the banter of the regulars and the staff.Anchorage has alot of great breakfast options but few have the class and hometown feeling that Jackie's provides.I travel far more often than I'd like to admit and luckily am able to call alaska my home, but I've traveled from NYC, to Miamia, to LA and even Tokyo but when it comes down to a hometown feel, nothing comes close. Those who say you can't go home are just unlucky, I feel like I go home everytime I'm lucky enough to fill a booth is this wonderful venue.

I can only say great things about this place! It has been so consistent for all of these years. All the employees seem to genuinely care about everyone who walks through the door, the breakfasts are excellent, and the locals interact well with everyone.

The service here sucks unless your one of the regulars that sit at the bar every day. I could understand treating regulars and new people different. But our food took for ever, it was cold and had to be reheated. And when asking for the check I was told I'm just gonna have to wait until our waitress could find time to bring me a check.....
This is a great little diner. Only place I've found with decent biscuits and gravy here in the great white north. We have never been disappointed with the food and the service deserves a 10 ?.

I ordered Eggs Florentine, for the 2nd time. Oh, My Goodness!! Yes, is the word. Thanks for cooking for Me, when I didn't want to!! Superb. I have ordered a couple more times since my initial visit. Loved it so much, went back today 11/17/23 and the Eggs Florentine was so bad I was unable to eat it. Called for one to have on credit, and it was made to be complicated. Eggs were liquid and spilled into my container. Always too good, will not return.Vegetarian options: I'd love to see a Black bean burger...

Yep! A great place for breakfast, at least that's what I usually order, sometimes lunch. You can always count on Janice and her staff to deliver a great, memorable, and convivial experience. Go before 9:00am because they are packed afterwards!

Great service, food came out quickly (but not the bad kind of quickly), everything super fresh. I got the chorizo eggs benedict with home fries, and my husband got chicken fried steak. Eggs were cooked perfectly for both dishes, as was everything else!

Wait half an hour for my food that's fine, then my steak comes out its sour/roughten & they tried to cover that with salt. Changed it out for bacon sure. Soggy raw hash browns. $15 and I gave a $5 tip. Thanks Jackie's place.
