Love this restaurant. Eat here whenever we drive into Anchorage. Their black cod is the best I've ever eaten. Also tried the pork belly appetizer which is delicious. We've never had a bad meal here. Ian was our server and he was so very nice and helpful.

** update to below review. The food was amazing! Perfectly package, well marked, but most importanly- Delicious and Beautiful! I went with the Hablibut and Alaskan cod. The portions were large, equal size and prepared perfectly. EXCEEDED expectations! Other inflight caterers could learn a thing or two from Chef Drew!(initial review)I don’t have my order yet as my flight is in 2 days. But talk about accommodating and responsive! They come highly recommended- now I see why! Can’t wait to try/ see the food!

Filet done to perfection. Melted like butter in my mouth. Soup of the day was a masterpiece. Atmosphere allowed for excellent conversation with my dining companion. Enjoyed our servers descriptions of the specials which included words like flittered.

This was the best dinner I've had in Anchorage. Quiet atmosphere, suitable for date night or just a good meal. Thank

We had an outstanding experience at Kincaid. The food was excellent as was the service. We started with oysters and poached pear salad which were very good. Then we had the mushroom bisque and seafood soup, both incredible! I think the mushroom was my favorite followed my the buttermilk chicken and brussel sprouts. And all the servers were so attentive and friendly. Awesome overall.

Kinkaid Grill is truly a high quality dining experience. The wait staff is well-trained to make each diner's experience an exceptional time. The food is over-the-top-delicious, with each dish uniquely flavorful. We were impressed with the pleasing presentation of each course. We highly recommend Kincaid Grill!

Kincaid Grill never, ever, ever fails. Apps were the pork belly bruschetta and the casino oysters. We could have eaten two orders of each and made that our meals, they were so incredibly delicious and perfectly prepared. Pork belly cuts were generous and meaty, bread was grilled and not dried out, plating was perfect. Oysters were large, perfectly cooked, and the seasoning and sauce was delightful. Entrees were the 16oz ribeye special was cooked to perfection with a nice char, with caramelized onions, garlic mashed potatoes, and a tomato bacon jam that was perfectly balanced, and the seared scallops, also perfectly cooked, with mashed potatoes, fresh green beans, grilled tomato, and melt in your mouth baked garlic cloves, sitting in a sauce of I don't know what but it was aaaaamazing. Excellent beer and wine choices to pair with any dish on their menu.

Kincaid Grill became and remains my favorite restaurant for special occasions. This occasion was not a stand out success. I asked for a split plate, that was acknowledged but when the food was delivered it was on one plate with a second empty plate. For the arguably best restaurant in town, that should not have happened. The meal was good but the presentation was a disappointment. I miss the crab cakes and the chocolate soufflé.

Our first time at Kincaid Grill. We were very pleased with the service and food. This has to be it the top 3 dinner placed we have experienced in Anchorage. This is a must return restaurant for us.

It was fine, nothing too special. The servers are super, they just get sidetracked easily; a bossy table of two (who made it very clear they are regulars) were served more promptly and consistently than we were, despite arriving first, and that wasn't great. They offered us a complimentary dessert as we were celebrating our anniversary but took so long finally getting the menu even offered to us that we were done and needed to leave. No offer for the dessert to go, which would have been nice. Be advised: The fried chicken is chicken breast; I detest breast meat and had I known I would not have ordered it. I ate one bite and nobody asked if there was a problem, so it came home with us for my husband's lunch. If you're a squeaky wheel, you'll get better service, I believe. We'll come back, as they are very close to our home and the wine list is awesome, but probably just for drinks and apps. Nice people, just nicer if you're one of the regulars.

Great selection including specials, great menu selection, great flexibility when ordering (mixing special-items with standard items), great wine list, great & friendly service.
