Yum! We went for the reindeer sausage and found everything was delicious. Amazing home fries, great portions, prompt service, no complaints at all. As you can see from the pic, I couldn't resist gobbling some before I thought of capturing the deliciousness so I can reminisce when back in the lower 48 and living a decidedly reindeer-less life. Too bad. Make sure you visit the Little Dipper when in Anchorage- best breakfast we had here during our brief stay. Bonus points for the AK info paper placemat which reminded me of being a "few" years younger!

The food is SO good, the menu is the best in Anchorage (hard to even pick!), and the personnel are friendly and professional. The restaurant is also very clean. We love this place and so do our kids.

Amazing food, like still thinking about my bagel sandwich. However, the owners either let some guy ask for political signatures or it was the owner (dude asked everyone at the restaurant and had a sign on the wall encouraging people to sign the petition). It's one thing to have the sign up. It's another to go table to table in such a small restaurant asking for personal information for political reasons on a supposedly relaxing Sunday morning.

Coffee - weak. Their Country fried steak is of the frozen variety, so I passed; had the 2x2x2 - OMed eggs (perfect), bacon - overdone, dead crispy, pancakes - fluffy, huge and tasteless served with generic syrup. I'm pretty sure they used CANNED CRAB for the Benedict and the Hollandaise sauce was overly bland. Service-wise, they don't clear the other setups if not used.

Walked in and the hostess didn't acknowledge us at all. Ok she got busy helping clean tables. There were people waiting. Waited at leastc10 minutes with the hostess going in and out seating people. Still no communication. No, I will be with you, no hi, how many....nothing. Someone else sat at hostess seat. Still nothing. I said hello we're here. Took name and number of people. Others came after us...the ones who came in after were seated before us...we waited 20 minutes total...ended up walking out. Went to Kriners Diner. Walked in. Everyone smiling, asked how many IMMEDIATELY. Great service and food KRINER DINER.
