I know I gave 1 star before (2 years ago) and not sure what happened in the past but I ordered through DoorDash earlier today and the food was amazing! I was born and raised in Thailand and I inhale/exhale Asian foods. I can assure you that this place is legit and very generous with the amount! ?

Hands down the best Pho I have had, even trying places out of state. Their popularity is apparent by just how busy they can get but they always put out great food.Vegetarian options: Wife is vegetarian and there are plenty of options for her.

Great service, friendly and helpful. Nice, warm atmosphere. But the food? It is almost always wet. Not greasy.....just wet. Egg rolls are wet, grilled chicken is wet, fried rice is wet, sandwich is wet! .... dripping with some odd slime that is not sauce, not identifiable, nor flavorful. It as if they dribble water on the meal before serving. It is unpleasant and inedible. I've tried a few times, always the same. Any other Vietnamese restaurant around town is much better.

Probably my favorite Asian food in Anchorage. I absolutely love #47 mi ka ti curry soup with tofu. I'm not a vegetarian by any means, and the soup has a chicken base. But, there is just something about tofu in that soup that makes it glorious. Highly recommend.Their lunch special is a good deal as well.

Please check back on your tables you first served. My entree was cold and had to wait a long time to close out my ticket.
When I speak to my coworkers about my favorite pho place, they usually beat me to the name- Pho Lena always comes up first. Best place to warm up from the inside out. Tasty and hot pho comes out quickly and the staff is pretty friendly and knowledgeable. I love the phos they have, the fresh rolls, and the sesame balls (if they have them. They sell out fast!). The super bowl comes out as massive bowl, enough to feed 3 people! Decided to try it tonight because I wanted many leftovers. This place is just darn good no matter when you go- lunch, dinner, second dinner.....I highly recommend!

10/11/23 4:50pm this place was empty.First off, if you’re not white…. You’re not welcomed here. That’s the vibe my family and I got as soon as we walked in. If you’re tan/brown/ or any color with pigment, pho Lena is not welcoming. First off, we were told to sit, no one brought us menus. But they were quick to walk 3 white parties to their tables and gave them menus. My kiddos had to go and chase down our menus.Next, they served these other parties that came in after us with waters and started taking their orders. After waiting for over 15min, the groups that came in after us put in their orders and we still weren’t even greeted or given the time of day. Very disappointing!My kids started asking questions about why weren’t we served or why they ignored us. I wish I could say my kids will never have to experience racism in 2023… but this was a sad day for my family.Our family stood up and walked out. We will not tolerate such discrimination and give money to a place that treat’s customers that way!
