I just went to Susitna Bar & Grill in Houston for the first time and let me tell you, it was nothing short of phenomenal! We ordered 5 different items off the menu for the table to share and everyone agreed there was not a single dish we didn't like! The staff was so friendly and very helpful! If you are in the area or willing to drive for good food, this is the place to go!
We have a cabin on the Parks Hwy. SB&G is about an hour north of Anchorage (depending on traffic), and about 30 minutes south of our cabin. We've been driving by it (without stopping for a long time). Heck we were often confused (despite their 'open' signs) to if they were open or not; but this time (Thursday evening) we decided to stop and give it a try. WOW.... it won't be our last time. Wow! We stopped in for takeout last night. Great service. Thank you Clare. Had a beer and oysters at the bar…yum! Loaded Drunken Noodle to go. Was still steaming hot when we got home. Super happy we stopped on the way home. Thank you! ?
