“Do not knock this food until you try it. It’s the best food I have ever eaten. Their food is a world of its own. Everything is chopped and cooked when you order not left there all day drying out so if it’s fast food you’re looking for that’s the wrong place. This is fresh and delicious and made to order. You have to wait a little while for your food, but it’s freshly cooked and freshly made doesn’t matter what it is. It’s all made from scratch and it’s made to order so if you don’t like wait a little while for your food, don’t go there, but if you want food from the Caribbean go to Da jerk!!! she is the best in Eagle River Anchorage Wasilla Palmer, Fairbanks it’s the best food I’ve ever had and I’m just a customer nobody’s paying me to do this. I just love her food. me and my wife go there three times a week Sam we get a little spicy some we don’t get spicy at all, but you have to tell her don’t assume she knows how spicy you like your food!!!! if I didn’t recommend it I haven’t tried it??”

“I really can't pick one thing I like most about Tinkers and her wonderful ladies! Since I was introduced about 5 years ago it has quickly become my most favorite spot to go, much a wonderful environment, whether you go for a coffee and a sandwich or a smoothie and a bowl of soup, they have nothing but positive energy and happiness for everyone who stops in! not only that they are super gracious when people request food/soup ideas even if it's a challenge they make it happen! LOVE LOVE LOVE TINKERS!”

“This is one of my go-to restaurants in Eagle River. I love bringing my kiddos here for their chicken lo mein. I've had a few different sushi rolls and Bento boxes that have all been good. Service is always great and the food has been delicious every time.Kid-friendliness: Usually every time we've been there has been at least one other family dining in. Very accommodating to children.”

“Just have to say - Gapco ER makes the most consistent great tasting pizza. I 100% recommend this place before any others here in ER. Under the same ownership/management for about 10 years now. I'd have to say they are the last pizza place here that great review record they have - belongs all to them.Nothing like looking up a place to read reviews for pizza and come across a highly reviewed place with great reviews. Only to find out - that particular pizza place just recently purchased that franchise- and they are riding on the back of the previous owners great reviews.You won't get that with ER gapco!”

“Very good pizza, server was very good, polite and helpful. Great service began and ended with the employee at the door. Large meat pizza and unlimited refills of soft drink was $34.The pizza was very well populated with a variety of pizza meats, great mozzarella, and the crust was just right for the hand tossed pizza.I recommend this restaurant.Vegetarian options: Two special pizzas were all vegetarian.Parking: Parking is immediately outside the restaurant doorsKid-friendliness: I saw two couples with young children while I was there. “I don’t head out of Anchorage much but this place was a great find in Eagle River! Very good food and excellent service. We got free chips and salsa, a free refill on our horchata, and constant check-ins from our waitress. I got the carne asada tacos with beans and rice while my partner got the carne asada chimichanga with beans and rice. We also got the Sampler Appetizer which is a MUST. Please check these guys out as they also have live music!”

“This is pretty good pizza.It's constantly good, too.I'm not a big breadstick or knots guy, but they have these cheesesticks that when dipped in marinara or garlic sauce, are tasty as hell. There's four small tables to eat there, but most carry-out.Since it's inside Walmart, we pick up a few things and while I go through the checkout, Mrs. E walks down and orders the pie. Our routine is asking the cashier what their favorite topping is. Then Mrs. E decides what would be a complimentary addition to that topping and that's what we eat. Only 10-15 minutes later, it's time to munch. We were going back to the cashier with a carry out box containing a couple of slices, management frowned upon this, so we had to stop.03/23”
