“My wife and myself has been to the bush pilot twice now once for an anniversary last month and tonight for my wife’s birthday service was excellent. The food was prepared very well and is constant with strongly recommend for a good night out.”

“The only reason I need to go back to Ketchikan is to visit the Alaska Fish House. I love the Alaskan halibut, best in the world. The staff are enthusiastic and polite. The atmosphere is sort of like family since most times you will share a table with others enjoying their own vacation and anxious to trade stories.Do not miss it , it’s great!”

“This place was nice. The atmosphere was good. A friend and I reviewed the menu from outside on the window after being referred here from the bookstore about 2.5 blocks up (just before the Red Bridge [an important and recognized landmark in Ketchikan]). However, the dish we wanted which cost $32 was not available. We had to buy a much higher priced item if we wanted salmon which is specifically why we went there. We both loved meal for lunch and both agreed it was good but the rice pilaf wasn't up to bar or didn't taste as good as either of us expected -- it was a little hard in places. The fillet we wanted came with a sauce that we both hoped to try. The meal we received didn't seem to have that same sauce or not enough of it for us to notice. Additionally, neither of us was certain there was any type of salad dressing on the greens. overall, for the short period of time that we were there, yes, I would recommend the place.”

“We love the Cafe's ever changing weekend brunch menu. We're in Ketchikan every few months (hope to move there soon), and we always stop there for brunch. If the Korean Street Toast is on the menu, don't hesitate, it's amazing. Great staff, great quality, and A+ for creativity of the menu.Food & drinks: So many delicious items on the menu. It is impossible to make a bad choice!”

“i got the arroz caldo, which was so comforting and good. highly recommend if you have an upset stomach or feel sick. the broth was rich with lots of ginger, chicken and egg. something to note: they dont use the glutinous rice arroz caldo is usually made with, so it isnt traditional. if youre looking for that thick soupy caldo, might not be the best option for you”

“Great place to sit back and relax. Talk to the locals or the fisherman's stories when they drop in. All bartenders at this place are on spot! They will have every person's orders on the highest priority for fast service. Karaoke Saturday nights starts at 8pm. And I have been visiting this bar for 2-3 years now. If Alex is working he's the #1 bar tender, but be nice and follow good bar standards when visiting cause they don't put up with drama or overly drunk non friendly people”

“Hi,I want to acknowledge an employee for their work on Christmas Eve. I had gotten into an accident 5 miles north of town, and the wonderful driver promptly picked us up. I didn’t realize until this morning that I had left my wallet in the cab until I went out on the porch and found a note the driver had written and the location where I could pick it up.”

Really a great way to finish my AMAZING trip to Alaska and glad to have had my last dinner here to have a real feel for the Ketchikan salmon experience.
