“Dudes, the food was AMAZINGGG. The guy behind the counter taking my order was SO nice. I downed the whole thing in five minutes. I got the beef dumplings with everything on it.10/10 will be back. The rye was a little odd but im just not a rye person ?‍♀️”

“A perfect little haven after out walking the trails in Sitka. Conceivably, one of my favorite daisies of all time, Saison Denise. Their IPA craft is strong here too. I would easily justify a return trip just to visit their awesome staff and chill environment.”

“Well the first thing you notice about Beak is it looks like a cute little house that's been converted into a restaurant. Sitting right next to the harbor under the O'Connell bridge it's a very cute little setting. I was greeted the moment I walked in by some very pleasant staff, and while I was disappointed they didn't serve breakfast, it was around noon anyhow so I was content to try their breakfast menu. The atmosphere inside is a pleasant one, very chill and low key, mismatched furniture and wall decorations add to a more comfortable "at home" vibe. I could do without some of the more political statements being made, regardless of my agreement to their cause, but nevertheless it's their space, and I found the ambience to be comforting.The menu had a few appetizing options but in the end I decided to go with the rockfish tacos, they weren't a whole lot to look at and when they came to the table I was somewhat let down, but with a little mango habanero salsa they provided and some of the wonderful aioli and a squeeze of lime they were VERY good. Do recommend! I was talked into trying some Apple Blueberry crumble for dessert as well, against my better judgement! But it was also delightful, almond flower and granola with a perfect amount of saltiness in the tart was very well complimented by the sweetness and creaminess of the ice cream, which they give plenty of so you can meter your sweetness to your own taste. Also recommend!In conclusion, I absolutely recommend Beak! I'll definitely be going back.”

“I love dive bars. This place is great! The service is awesome and the drink prices are about what you would expect. They have a great selection of local beers and some suprisingly good and interesting whiskey and burbon selections If you love dive bars make sure to stop here if you are passing thru Sitka!”

“Had dinner with my family, the food was delightful. I ordered the Halibut Olympia, there was an explosion of favors happening. The Atmosphere was quite and elegant. The service was impeccable. I highly recommend Channel Club to anyone visiting Sitka.Wheelchair accessibility: My mother joined us, she is bound to a wheelchair. Getting to and from the dining area was such an easy transition. The waiter made her feel welcomed and not like she was a burden.”

“The best meal I’ve ever eaten. The flavors were perfectly balanced but each flavor stood on its own in every dish. The king salmon was worthy of out loud exclamation! I love fine dining, and now this will be the measuring stick Of all other fine dining experiences. I also love the laid back atmosphere. The service was excellent.”

“Ultimate bar in Sitka. Sit and have a beer with locals. Anthony Bourdain would love it. Also a liquor store connected, but there is no salesperson, you have to ask the bartender to come over.”

“We have gone to a few places in town while we have been here. We keep coming back to the Nugget because it is consistently good. The service is very good also. The Coast Guard Wrap is my husband’s favorite. Prime Rib night was awesome. Just good food at a good price.”

“Super good Woodfire pizza! It'll cost you, but the pizza is worth it. If you dine in, there's a brewery tasting room where you can have three beers and there is alot of options.”

“We ate at the Mean Queen for breakfast and lunch while in Sitka. Both meals were enjoyed by all. The pizza both thin crust and deep dish were good a long with the wings and fried green beans and dessert that came with our deep dish. The house margarita hit the spot! Breakfast tacos and biscuit and gravy were good also. The portions were appreciated also.”

“Sitka , Ak prices higher than franchise stores in lower 48... higher cost of getting goods to an island. Service varies depending on who is behind counter... some make a significantly poorer quality sandwich.. skimping on primary ”

“Salmon bisque was delicious! Tastes like it was wholeheartedly made and the flavors were wonderful. Pam at the food truck was very friendly and welcoming too! It was nice that they offered seats and tables - which is awesome after a long day walking around downtown. I would highly recommend trying this place out!”

“We came in and got mochas and bacon egg & cheese croissants. The process was a little slow and they didn't have any condiments. The pictures on the wall were fun and staff was friendly.”

“We walked in and were greeted with excellent service. We ordered Sitka double burger, halibut fish and chips and beef and lamb gryo. The burger was 1 of the most delicious burgers i have ever eaten, so it's a 10/10 for me. Halibut was delicious as well, and the wait was like 10 minutes. And let me just say the bathroom was super clean . Would definitely recommend this place to anyone.”
