“I am a coffee nut and roast my own at home. I also make my own favorite espresso. This place consistently provided the best coffee I've had away from home. The service and atmosphere were also excellent. I highly recommend!”
“The beer is absolutely delicious! My favorite was the Hefeweizen but didn’t have one that wasn’t so good. The staff!! They were so friendly and fun. Rhonda the owner/brewer is the absolute best!! Wish I lived here so I could come every Saturday. Good luck Growler Bay! Wishing you great success!”
“Great coffee! E had the daily special, the raspberry mocha, and a quad espresso topped with whipped cream. Perfect end to a fun day fishing for pink salmon from the beach. Friendly and fast service! We'll be back!”
“The snacks were diabetic friendly. Also had some home made cookies to go with the coffers. The two ladies working were friendly, courteous and accomidatimg. A must stop for coffee ☕ and a snack... and other goodies as well.”
“Love this shop I have so many favorite drinks!! Always get insta worthy pics with how beautifully they make them! Since I upgraded to their amazing hydro flasks I have no need keeps my drinks hot or cold for days!”
“Fantastic meal! The burger was exceptional down to the last detail. Fries were perfect. "Corey sauce" is so good! One of the best meals I've had in Valdez on my first time visiting.”
“The Stampmill is the restaurant side. The Dead Canary Mine is more bar. I had a stromboli, it was delicious. Great crust, in just the right proportion to filling. Next visit I had a pizza, it was fine. It was freaking freezing at my table and the light was flickering.”
“The employees are always very nice and attentive here, they are very quick to get your order made the way you want it, and the prices are very fair considering the area!”
“We rolled into Valdez and found that Fu Kung was right behind our hotel. We ended up getting the 007, Polar Bear, and a spicy crunch roll. For 2 people, the 3 rolls really hit the spot and came with a great spicy soup. We knew we'd be hungry later and got an order of pad Thai to go. The servers were kind and quick, and we had a great time relaxing here after a long drive. In the evening when we broke out the pad Thai, they had carefully put the peanut sauce and the hot pepper sauce in separate containers, so it wasn't soggy or separated. The one order was enough for both of us to eat.”
“The Lulu pizza was perfect for me with light on the marinara sauce and crispy crust. I hate soggy crusts. The wait time was reasonable and the service was fine—not much to delivering a pizza and drinks. I always wish Alaska prices were lower but I understand the reasons for it.”
“Went here for breakfast 4 times when in town. Nice little diner. They can be very busy sometimes (probably because there are only 2 staff: one cook and another taking orders). I guess this is the small town style. Food was serviced hot, and in large portion. Also, they are open from 7 am. If you need to go on a tour early in the morning , this can be your place!”
“We love going here for great pizza. We love the burgers, and the service was a bit slow but great still. ?Kid-friendliness: My son's love the kids' menu but also love their burgers!”
“Had a great stop here in Valdez. The bartender was super nice, gave us a tasting so we could decide. The mech is also nice so we bought a few things on top of a few beers to go after enjoying the atmosphere. We haven't found alot of breweries on our travels, but this was one of the best stops so far. The beer was really good. The Pho-Boy food truck was also very good.”
