My husband and I were staying in Opelika for a pickleball tournament, and found this jewel in Auburn. It was way before the dinner hour, so there was no problem with parking or finding a table. Before we arrived at Amsterdam Cafe, Hubs complained that he didn't want "pub food." I assured him that the limited menu had plenty of variety, and surely he'd find something he liked to eat. Ordered the 8oz filet for pickup last night. Walking in to pick up my food and loved the atmosphere, I wished I would have been able to sit and eat but I didn’t have time. The filet temperature was correct and the side dishes were beautiful. Priced appropriately, very friendly service, just all over a lovely experience. Highly recommend.
