I was picking up food. Sarah and Larry were very welcoming and helpful. I did not catch the other gentleman's name. They were not fully open but they let me have a tour. They have fantastic artwork everywhere, a large well furnished club/lounge area, and fenced outdoor patio and stage.
I have been all OVER the south. From New Orleans to Charleston. Miami to Knoxville. I promise you will never find a better shrimp n grits than at Plush Bar and Grill. If you get it topped with the fried catfish you will be in a world of flavors. There is so such much depth and distinctive profiles in each bite. Also it's a very chill and relaxed atmosphere. DJ Phase II was EVERYTHING!!!!!! It was not a big crowd on our last night in Birmingham but the DJ was so good we couldn't leave. The drinks were good also. The only down fall was that the bartender prices kept changing evertime we ordered a drink. Other than that this place is a great for a mature crowd Nd great music.
