We drove from Prattville to eat here and it was still good. We dined in and it was a very relaxing environment. the food was perfect and the tables and booths were clean. You can tell they pride themselves on their food as well as the restaurant.
The place looks outdated. I never really looked at it until my last visit but it seems the decor never changes or maybe I just don't go enough anymore. I wasn't impressed with the food this time around but I've been to this establishment many times and enjoyed every bite. I felt the food wasn't like it used to be. I grew up in Hueytown,Al and Speedy's was our Sunday, after church, tradition. When I was little I honestly couldn't stand Tex Mex, Mexican food, but I always LOVED Speedy's humungous taco salads, and their mind blowing Combo burritos.
