Carrigan’s beer garden is one of the go-to spots for me and my friends. We go to drink different types of beers and grab some snacks and food. Their food selection is alright- some German influence as well, including brats and pretzels. Their beer selection on tap is fantastic but they also have other types of beers by the can. We love the ambiance most of all- the indoor space and outdoor space is intimate for small groups or large enough for big groups. Order at the table through the phone and the beer will show up in your hand within 3 mins, it’s like magic! They have a small parking lot, but there is street parking across the street or around the block.

Great place to hang out with friends. Cahaba Blonde beer (local AL) was excellent... Light and crisp. Food was great too. You can play Ping Pong outside and ample place.

I absolutely love Carrigan's Beer Garden! I went for the 1st time while on a Birmingham Pedal Tour ride on June 17th. I went back to have dinner with my sister a week later. I didn't play games outside this time, but I'm definitely going back. I definitely recommend anybody going here.Wheelchair accessibility: On my visit yesterday, I saw 3 men in wheelchairs and they had ease getting around in there. It's very open.

I love their outdoor space. It's nice and relaxing, and you can actually hear the people you're talking to. They have a great beer selection, especially for German beer. You order your food and drinks from your phone and the staff will bring it right out to you. It's quick and easy, no waiting on a server to order or pay your tab.

Went for the Garden Party, and it w spectacular. A lot of cool people and great performances. The food was delicious, and the service was good. I just felt like some things could be streamlined at the bar to make a slightly better experience. Overall, though, a great experience and great time.

Food and atmosphere were great! But the service absolutely ruined it. Our waiter was SO rude. We got something wrong and said “oh excuse me” and he started walking off while we were talking so I spoke up and said “excuse me sir??” And he turned around and said “yeah what”And I told him I ordered something different and he grabbed it and said as sarcastically as he could while rolling his eyes “well that’s just great isn’t it whatever” and took it and stormed off. He continued to do this to everyone at the table when we asked for water and silverware. He was extremely rude.

I actually like the atmosphere and aesthetic of the place. Personally, I wish they had more drink options and better microbrew drink options. Overall it was a decent experience going there with two of my friends on a Friday night.

This is a special place...in and outdoors. You can tell it is extremely well-managed. The specialty cocktails are excellent and they offer beers you can't find elsewhere around here. Ketler made the experience even better. Definitely will go back and definitely recommend!

This was our third or fourth visit, and we keep going back. The food is good and the beer list always offers a good variety of styles with a special keg or two on tap. I like the open feel of the inside, and the garden outside is really nice for pleasant days.
We are regulars of Carrigan’s and we love the vibe. The couches, huge communal tables, and the fireplace are very cozy and welcoming. We visited Carrigan’s for New Years Eve and ordered bratwurst pups and the loaded tots along with a few drinks. The metropolitan glow was delicious and if you’re wanting something cheap to sip on for a long time, then I suggest a stein of beer. Everything was delicious, but our only complaint was that the music was super loud throughout the restaurant. I would understand if there was dancing and typically I love loud music, but we could just barely hear each other speak so we moved outside. Outside was a nice area, but pretty dark and chilly. There are only two fire pits out there and neither were lit.
