We LOVE a Cajun Steamer and we found this one in Trussville. We sat at the bar. Service was great. Food was okay, I had the Cajun Trio (etouffee was good, jambalaya was overcooked, red beans and rice were undercooked) not as good as the Hendersonville TN location... the reason for the 3 stars is the reason we had to leave or we would have ordered dessert and more drinks! My husband doesn't eat seafood but thought I'd like to try a new place. He loves red beans and rice and it was definitely a hit for him! Neither of us could finish our food, but it didn't stop us from taking it home for leftovers. Highly recommend! Also, they have the best fried pickles I've ever tasted.

It is smaller than Swamp Tails, but the food is good and the draft beer is awesome. They were running short in crawfish and oysters tonight because of some national shortage, so hurry up. The bartender was excellent tonight.
