I was surprised to find such good home-style southern food. I tried a variety of dishes. I tried their pancakes, grits, hash browns, salmon biscuits, black-eyed peas with okra, candied yams, mac&cheese, collard greens, and corn bread, in the span of two days. All were quite tasty. I will return soon. Sorry, I forgot to take pictures.
Landed in Birmingham for a hunt trip and looked for a lunch spot around 11. Found this place and gave it a shot. The service was exceptional from start to finish! Although I think they were don serving breakfast, they asked my brothers and I if we’d like breakfast or lunch. After showing us all they had to offer, we went for the lunch and all got the Salisbury steak but we all got different sides. Everything was delicious and for a great price! What a good find!
