I'll start by saying my girlfriends I celebrated my birthday dinner here last night. Our waiters happened Andrew who be assisting new waitress I am usure of her name but they both were fantastic. He was well versed on the menu and offered great explanations of the menu items. For starters we ordered for the pimento cheese hushpuppied and peppered bacon, which both were phenomenal but the bacon was the star of the show. Our entrees consisted of the half fried chicken which was great and we raved about the chicken seasoning. blackened redfish, with a tasso gravy that was SO good it could've been eating by itself, and the aged NY strip w/wild mushrooms...chef's kiss! Finally for dessert we ate a dark chocolate cake which was delectable and rich and finally the Butter Cake, which was a mini bundt cake, which we all raved about moist buttery, with a crust that we all were figuring out how to how to replicate...truly a conversation piece. The restaurants ambience itself was beautiful and vibrant. I felt like we were I'm an art gallery. The patio was open, but since the weather is still unpredictable, the furnishings were covered, however our waitess help of capture some great photos and the view was amazing.I will definitely be returning!

Beautiful dining area. It was a little chilly for eating on the rooftop patio, but that looked even better. The service was more relaxed than I would've expected for a high-end restaurant. I like the vibe they were trying to present, but the weight staff forgot beverages. We ordered a couple times, and we had to ask again. they were also out of both fish dishes on the menu, and it was only 7:30 pm. The truffle fries were outstanding, and I thought the desserts were good, though my wife thought they were underflavored. The mains were underwhelming for a restaurant of this quality. Good, but nothing special.

Dinner was great ...everything about it. Only drawback was there happened to be a wedding there that night, so access to getting there was major problem as apparently that was same time as beginning of wedding festivities. Leaving was no issues, so all in all, the initial issues were quickly forgotten with our wonderful meal and super friendly waitress.

Tonight we arrived and had the pleasure of meeting Stephanie. She had such a great smile and as tired as we had been from driving it her friendliness that really stood out. We never had to ask for more drinks and she checked on us a perfect amount of time. I truly wish more places had people like Stephanie who's smile makes you feel at home.

I invited my team for breakfast. The waiter Andrew was awesome. The food presentation, the amount of food, the taste was delicous. My team asked to do it again in the same place. I would recommeded it.

Does not have breakfast menu listed online, only option was the breakfast buffet. Warning: this buffet is $60 a person! More than shocked to get the bill. Buffet was average, with some items out. Coffee or juice not included. Wildly overpriced
I ordered the hush puppies and the Caesar salad with grilled shrimp. The menu items were misleading as the added protein indicates there would be six grilled shrimp and only five came with the meal. The menu listed cornbread croutons for the salad and they were regular, tasteless croutons that came from a bag. The pimiento cheese hush puppies were regular hush puppies sitting on a small schmear of cheese. The menu indicated local bacon but there was no hint of bacon and the batter on the inside seemed undercooked but exterior bordered on over fried.

The pancakes were the best I have ever had. They were thin and had such great flavor. I usually only taste someone elses but this time we ordered 2 orders for the table because everyone loved them so much. Winner!!
They didn't have an actual brunch menu and only a so-so buffet that cost $59. The website made it seem like we would have other options. Made reservations for me and my wife not knowing this. Ending up spending $150+ on what was basically a continental breakfast. Very disappointing.

Reservation didn't specify buffet. Buffet is $59 pp. Now, I love a buffet! But no carving station- all hot hot dishes unimaginative and not even mediocre at best. Salmon- no accompaniments offered. Presentation and menu was basic with no embellishments. We should have been impressed- Sunday buffet is usually a time for hotels to shine. What a disappointment . It's our second bad experience- last time as overnight guests. Grand Bohemian presents an ambitiously hip atmosphere. It strives to be high end and charges for it. With this high-end atmosphere you'd expect service to match, but sadly-no. As we left my husband said to never bring him here again. We would have had a better experience at Waffle House.

This is a "hidden" gem in that it is located on the second floor of The Grand Bohemian Hotel in Mountain Brook village. There is an exterior staircase leading from the parking lot as well as elevator access from within the valet area. The restaurant and bar are very large, nicely decorated so the atmosphere is very nice without feeling like you are on top of the other patrons. They have a lovely outside eating area. Food and beverages were very tasty. I would definitely recommend visiting.

My husband took me again for my birthday. It was more crowded than last time, and a private party was also in full swing. The food was good, but they forgot my salad. Service was slow, which was understandable due to the party as well as the number of people in the restaurant.
