Breakfast was good, went for dinner and got one wrong item. The fries were unbelievably old and greasy, never should have been served. The bbq was not great and the chicken sandwich was definitely not freshly grilled.
We decided to stop and eat here on Saturday around 4:30 pm. Right off we had to try and find a clean table. There was one other customer in the restaurant at the time. Several tables still had dishes on them and had not been cleared or cleaned. We both ordered hamburger steak and it was good with gravy and onions. We had to ask for silverware and then had to clean with a napkin and got one knife replaced. Worried about getting take out if the restaurant inside looked as it did....read full review

A great place to eat!Kemp’s kitchen is also a Golden Rule BBQ so you can have many options for the entire family.I had a BBQ sandwich with fried okra and onion rings. The meat had nice bark and smoky flavor and I have always enjoyed the sauce.
