Kome is a great restaurant with unique personality. I would think it's family owned. Which at times translates into being a bit understaffed for the size of the place, but it feels "warmer" than other restaurants. I love all their items, from their sushi to their bowls. I have been visiting this resturaunt since it opened!! By far the highest quality sushi in Hoover. Sushi Chef really knows what he's doing and his wife is always so helpful! Food is really yummy!! The Crunchy Shrimp and Galexy Roll are great! Create your Own Sushi and hot entrées are absolutely delicious!!!!!!

Aesthetics were nice. I had the aac sushi, and make your own fried rice. The veggie sushi was good, but just like other veggie sushi I've had. The fried rice however, was phenomenal, as well as my husbands make your own poke bowl. He stated the jalapeños were freshly hot and the crab meat was the best he's had. Would definitely come back when in the area.
