In town for business and found this place because it was near my hotel. Just wanted a quick meal and a beer. Got here at 6 on a Friday and was packed so found a seat at the bar. I was greeted friendly despite it being a little crazy and busy. Ordered the fried pickles as appetizer. Really good. Lightly fried with an amazing sauce. Ordered the fried catfish fingers. Really tasty with a really good tartar sauce. Nice beer selection of local beers. Jim & Heather behind the bar were wonderful. Friendly and attentive and just made meal that much more enjoyable. I would come back just to see them! Great kittle place with delicious food and friendly people. What more do you want?

We thoroughly enjoyed our meal and the service was great. Would recommend this place to friends. They also have a children's menu and provided colors.

Upscale bar food. Good beer. Okay atmosphere. Pretty tight quarters. Awful parking. But, did I mention good beers?

On a road-trip whim, we saw there was a Statue of Liberty replica in Birmingham and decided to stop by. Then we looked in TA to find a place to eat and got really lucky. The food was great for adults, burgers and Cajun food, as well as kids. And the local draft beer was a extra bonus.

This unassuming establishment truly surprised me. The food was deliciously satisfying. I want to come back tomorrow night and try something else!! The live music was a pleasant surprise. We really enjoyed our evening.

I was told over the phone they don't do call ahead seating. I was told it was a 45 minute wait, but it was moving fast and it shouldn't be that long. 8 minutes later when I walked in the door I was told it was at least and hour. The impression I got when we walked in was "uhoh it's brown people". She walked away, while we were still talking to her to some guys at the bar, and asked them, "you're waiting for a table for six, right?" The guy had no idea what she was talking about. It seemed like she was lying and was encouraging us to leave.Would never go back.

This is one of my favorite places to eat. Unfortunately the last several times I've ordered I've been disappointed. The quality of the food is not what it used to be and it makes me sad. The patty on the patty melt looked like it was a frozen hamburger patty you would buy in a box at the grocery store. Tasted like one also. They were out of Texas Toast for the Monte Cristo and out of onion rings. I will have to find a new place because after 4 recent tries it is time to give up. Maybe one day they will be back to their old standard.

As they acknowledge on their website, parking is not good. Came here for an anniversary dinner. Cajun Food is a recurring theme for our anniversary since my wife is originally from Louisiana and I like it a lot too. We chose to sit on the front porch. I am thinking this is a new setup to help with social distancing. I think I would go with the outdoor balcony for any future visits instead. We started off with and order of House Chips with Bacon Blue Cheese Dip. I am not usually a big fan of blue cheese but it was very good. We also decided to share a bowl of Gumbo and my wife had a Heights House Salad. The flavor of the Gumbo was really good but did not seem to have as much shrimp, sausage or crawfish as I normally expect. For our entree we chose the Pontchartrain Pasta - Shrimp, Andouille Sausage and Crawfish with Peppers & Onions in Creamy Creole Seasoning with e Penne Pasta. This had the amount of protein that I was expecting in the gumbo. Again flavor was very good and pasta was cooked perfectly. For our final course we had the Cookie Fix Sundae - 2 warm cookies from the nearby Cookie Fix served with vanilla ice cream and marshmallow cream. We have been big fans of Cookie Fix for a while and this dish did not disappoint. The cookie choices were the typical chocolate chip and a "healthy" peanut butter, so we chose 1 of each. Both were really good. Overall would recommend and probably return.

Great location for beers and burger. They have other good items on the menu. I had The Big Green Pimp Burger And sweet potato fries. The burger was great. The fries were cold and didn't have much flavor.

Flavor of Crab Cakes was so delicious and they offered beer samples to help you decide which one would be the best choice. Great service, very friendly and personable. Will be back the next time we are out of Texas

So I read the reviews about how good the Ruben sandwich was. I love that sandwich and try it where ever I go if it's offered. Gotta say this was not that good. First off you need to cook your own corn-beef in house if your going to claim greatness. This was a deli meat that was sliced in-house. I did not like the meat texture or flavor. Hard to make a great sandwich when the main ingredient is not excellent. Now if I'm mistaken about the cooked in-house I apologize. But I doubt it. Not a place I'd say was a culinary experience. Positives cool vibe and friendly attentive service.

Great little place. The burgers were cooked well and not sloppy. Beer choice is small but unique and the wings were big Smokey but not greasy. We will be back
