Nana Funks is underrated honestly. Nice dance floor, two separate bars for convenience, and a great DJ to top it all off!Also being one of the few bars that stays open til 5 doesn't hurt! It's dope man!
I just moved to the HAM from Portland!! I was feeling a bit lost in the deep south, but I found refuge in Nana Funks. I was intrigued to enter because of the leg lamp in the display window and because I initially believed the sign read Nana Freaks [(if you know what I mean :*)] . To my surprise, NF supplied me with that little known thing called southern hospitality... its real!! Small dance floor but always a vibe. The DJ is usually always great, the security are friendly by professional, and it’s just a great atmosphere. If you want to continue your night after the other places close, this is definitely a place to come to.
