They have obviously changed management, I had preordered a meal, and when I showed up to pick it up, someone had taken it off the shelf. They quickly remade the pizza and salad with an apology and free drink. Couldn't ask for them to do more. Good job guys. ?
I am not local to this area, but met my daughter to eat as she's attending UAB. They took my order immediately, recommended what was their favorite menu items, they were patient with me when I had forgotten my card in the car. The food was delicious! They were so sweet to my young son as well. I will definitely make a habit of eating here when I visit Birmingham!Kid-friendliness: They have a kids menu

The downtown UAB location is top notch. The manager greeted us at the counter and was helpful and knowledgeable about menu items and new specials.Even though the staff was involved in closing duties (an hour before) they were engaged with customers and not bothered to keep assisting with drinks, clearing tables, etc.This is a great location.We love Newk's and all the food!!!Salads, sandwiches, soups, pizzas - you won't go wrong.
