Having checked in to the Fairfield Inn & Suite located around the corner from the Food Court we looked for a local restaurant to enjoy after a long day of driving. The hotel referred us to the Food Court. Upon arrival there was an excellent bar in the center of the food court and we took advantage of Happy Hour specials on margaritas at the bar called, The Louis Bar and our bartender and owner, Jesus was both attentive and personable. As we inquired about the various food choices, we learned he also owned Unos Tacos adjacent to the bar and we ordered a chicken and beef quesadilla's and found them both filling and enjoyable. We didn't plan to eat in a food court, but were happy to find this gem of a drinking and eating venue to fill our empty stomachs and quench our thirsts.

This is a lively food hall - much nicer than a mall food court. My daughter had lunch at the Israeli Mediterranean spot - the portion was large and tasty (although the couscous was very bland). I had chili/soup and pimento cheese with wheat thins at the soup bar - the chili was delicious as was the cheese/crackers. There was ample seating.

The Pizitz Food Hall isn't the largest of the food halls I've been to, but it packs a punch! It's not huge, but it has A LOT of seating! Seating has been an issue in a few of the food halls I've visited, but it wasn't here! We did visit on the weekend (we actually stopped by on Saturday and Sunday this weekend when we visited Birmingham), and I suspect they might be busier during the week (lots of business from people who work nearby?). But when we were there, there were still plenty of seats on the main floor - but there was seating on the floor above as well! We enjoyed that the food hall has some varied food options - Israeli food at Eli's Jerusalem Grill, Pan Asian offerings at Pho Pho, smoothies and bowls at JuicedUp Essentials, pies from Edolyn's Pies, Pan Asian (Nepali/Vietnamese) from MO:MO:, poke from Ono Poke, tea/coffee from Piper & Leaf, candy from Birmingham Candy Company, Indian street food from Silver Kati, soups/salads/sandwiches from Spoon & Ladle, burgers and hot dogs from The Standard, fried chicken from Winner Winner, and a The Louis Bar, a bar in the middle of the hall. (There are also a few stores and a small independent movie theater within the building!) Something for almost everyone! The hall is bright, clean, pretty, modern. I love a food hall, because it's fun to go with a group - everyone can get what they want! Picky eaters aren't a problem at a food hall! And Pizitz was a nice example of a food hall! Varied food stalls, plenty of seating! What's not to like? Check it out if you haven't already!

We ate at Ono poke bowls. It was good. Sushi was fresh. Service quick. Just wish there were more choices to include in the bowl. Other food choices looked good. If you are with a large party, everyone can certainly find something they want to eat.

I had the gumbo, mini croissant panini, and brunswick stew. All was much better than expected. Definitely recommend!

Music a little loud. Excellent ethnic choices. Do not miss the soup station. Fantastic flavor. I will return.

The portions are ridiculously small and the food was pretty bad. I felt like my chicken tasted old in my soup and my sandwich was super bland. I didn't even finish and I went and bought something somewhere else.

Brunswick stew was delicious, quick and polite service.

This is a food court, with lots of different options to choose from. We stopped here while passing thru Birmingham in order to go to Eli's Jerusalem Grill. We didn't realize at first that this Eli's location is actually in a Food Court setting so we were looking for a storefront with street parking. Once we circled the entire block we realized it was a food court and quickly found the dedicated free parking garage for Pizitz. We were there at lunch time on Saturday and it was filled with people of all ages. There seemed to be family-oriented activities happening in nearby locations which probably explains why so many families with kids were there. Since we were going there specifically for Eli's we didn't make note of all the options, but there were a lot and it seemed there was a good variety. One thing I did notice was a lack of familiar "chain" names. There may have been some, but I couldn't tell you if there were.. The amount and availability of seating was good, with a variety of arrangements (2-person, 4-person, etc). There were even a few tables with outdoor seating as options. I didn't notice before we ordered that there was a station for filling water glasses in the eating area. I appreciated that thoughtfulness as fountain and bottle drinks can be pricey when purchasing several for a family. The restrooms were clean and easily accessible. The food from Eli's was great--but that is a different review. We chose this location rather than their main location because of proximity to I-65.

Next to the Amtrak station so have use the food hall a couple of times, they have some nice Mexican, American , Indian and 2 Asian stalls, pho pho had some healthy Asian food which we couldn’t stop ordering and packing out. The place had a lot to sit out with different types of sitting and even an outdoor sitting.Wasn’t too crowded at all times

The Pizitz Food Hall has something for everyone. There are two restaurants and twelve food stalls. I ate at only two so far (Eli’s Jerusalem Grill and Silver Kati Indian Street Food), but I will be back to try others. The options are amazing.

Amazing grilled cheese and a variety of kiosks to choose from. Great pickles there too. There is a bar in the middle and outdoor seating. Prices are very reasonable.

Another group stop for lunch and it was phenomenal. Dessert to the form of an arm twisted chocolate, caramel turtle which knocked my socks off. Lots to choose from, good food, many ethnicities and well worth the bite(s)
