We used to frequent this establishment at least once per month. They got rid of what, in my opinion, were the most popular food items.. the individual $3.99 street tacos.. no explanation why, but just got rid of them. We haven’t been back. I know several folks who have stopped going since they made this change.
Excellent food, super busy, but still seated fast with great service
Great food. Also a great place to bring the family and have a night out in the city.
Im giving this a two star rating because the server was great and the salsa was good. The entrées are however subpar. I was with a party of eight. Our food was on par with gas station Mexican food. I am fairly certain the meat is prepared well ahead of time. It is very expensive, average cost is about 16 dollars a plate and I promise you it is not worth it. Vallet parking ? Seriously?
If you like Mexican food, then you will love this place. They usually have a good crowd. I came here for a local meet and greet once with a large group of people. They have space to accommodate something like that. It is right off of Highway 280, so getting there can be difficult during rush hour in the afternoon.
Food was pretty good. Everything is overpriced tho. Expect to spend at least $30 a person.
I have been going to this place for years, but I just recently started frequenting the location again. The food and service here is always amazing. I really enjoy the cheese dip here, and I think it is some of the best of any Mexican restaurant that I have tried.
This was my first time visiting this establishment. The service we received was awesome and the food was delicious. Order yourself the chicken quesadilla plate. They are so good...
Service was great, food was good, restaurant could have been a little cleaner but with the lack of staff these days they all could be so.... over all it was a good experience. It was a little more pricey than most Mexican restaurants.
A very cool and unique environment. The food was good and I did not expect the quality of ingredients to be as good as it was. (My fajitas had large pieces of freshly cut and well grilled steak)
If I could give Superior Grill zero stars, I would. Have been here previously and the food and service has declined each time but today was a final low. We will never return again. Service was not good. I know that we came during an off time (3:30), but everything took forever! Just now leaving at 5:20, and it would have been longer if my husband had not gone to the server to give his card to process payment. The food was worse. Grossly overpriced for the quality. And I order the Smoked Vegetable Fajitas. These vegetables were neither smoked nor fajita-grilled. They were simply steamed and placed on a Western Sizzlin' steak serving platter... it was disgusting. My margarita was nasty. It was nauseatingly sweet. And even though there was hardly any tequila in it, it was such cheap tequila I have a headache after only drinking half of it (couldn't stomach another sip even though I knew we were paying out the nose as it was ridiculously priced at 8.50!). My husband was likewise supremely disappointed with his overpriced and nasty enchilada. The only good thing was the salsa and the beans...
This was pretty good overall! Great way to relax with some friends on a Tuesday night. Sat in the enclosed patio area. We had to catch our waitress when we could, as she was very busy the whole time we were there. She was sweet about it though. Food was pretty good. Live band was entertaining in between conversation. The superior platter was pretty good. The sangria swirl margarita was definitely much needed for a Tuesday evening.
Doing keto and the chicharron and queso was delicious! Along with the Superior Combo salad. House dressing was great! Service was fast!
Great Mexican food plus local and international craft beer
Stopped here expecting to be wowed but it wasn't the best. First off from looking at it it doesn't seem that big but this restaurant is huge. It has two bars and enough seating for everyone. The food was ok. I had the Superior nachos and I can honestly say I was not impressed. Definitely not worth the money in my book. It was about 6 chips already dressed with ground beef and cheese then put in the oven.I also had the happy hour pomegranate Margarita which was ok. I think that the waiter left it sitting for sometime which cause it to be a bit watered down. All in all it was an ok visit. I don't think it will be on my list to go back to.
