While waiting for my dinner to be ready, I went to just look at their treats. I ended up getting a variety of things to try. Not only was it THE best but THE best customer service!!! Any time I come through Birmingham I’ll be stopping by! Fresh, top quality ingredients. I’m blown away by my entire experience!!!

We were leaving Pizitz Food Hall and just happened to stumble upon The Birmingham Candy Company. Who can say no to candy? Definitely not me.The lady behind the counter was very nice and encouraged us to take our time making a decision. She explained that they are known for their caramel, which helped me make a decision. I tried the milk chocolate caramel pecan cluster. There was milk chocolate on the top, caramel in the middle, and the bottom was layered with pecans. It was really delicious. The caramel was soft and sweet, not hard and chewy, which made it the perfect treat.

OMG CANDY. Impulse be damned. This spot caught my eye and all self control was gone. Az you can see in my photos they have quite a decent selection. I initially was not too happy with the lack of my favorite plain (dark) chocolate. The nice lady behind the counter explained thst rhey were known for their caramel. To cut to the chase my wife and I each got a milk chocolare and plain chocolate pecan clusters. They were excellent usualy I would have be'moaned the lack of sufficient chocolate. However, the caramel was not oversweet, as is common, so I did noft miss the bitter counter of the plain chocolate. It also permitted the sweet flavour of the pecans to come through. I could have easilly downed several more. But self control got the better of me

This place really took me by surprise. By far the BEST chocolate I’ve had! I cannot wait to go back to try more. Run as fast as you can❤️

All the candy is wonderful, but the caramel is the best I've ever tasted.

My favorite are the pralines. I was disappointed in the s'mores fudge but my daughter loved it. I found that all I tasted was sugar with no flavor. The peanut butter fudge looked good but I bought it for my son-in-law so I'm not sure how it taste. The crunch thing on a stick is pretty good. A rice krispy treat surrounded by gooey caramel and walnuts. The candy is a little pricey but I don't mind paying for good taste--especially in the current economy. Also I'm supporting a small local business.

Efficient and well placed for a little high end treat after dinner.

It definitely wasn't what I expected as far as size and variety. But my my my the flavors were bursting. 10 out of 10 for sure

From out of state, visited both locations. Customer service was amazing at both, had a great time selecting handmade chocolates from a place that clearly cares about makong quality products.

Yelp! It's official! Did y'all know that candy has arrived in downtown Birmingham? Child, ain't nobody told me nothing! I go into the Pizitz hall for lunch and what do my wondering eyes see, ? Candied apples, a harvest time staple. And, y'all they are good. Of course. Anytime you run out of the regular red candy kind, you know this stuff here good. I chose your caramel toffee flavor. A nice tart Granny Smith to balance out toffee goodness. Yelp! Then, I got me and CB a chocolate covered OREO? SMH, y'all already know, I'll be back.

This place has some really good birthday cake fudge A+ but it was really expensive for the quantity. Yes, that one piece was 6 dollars. In my opinion it was a dollar too expensive. A slice of cake at Ashley Mac's is 5 dollars, I know everyone overhead is different still. Otherwise, the service was decent and everyone seemed nice. There was a variety of treats to pick from. I would recommend this spot to someone looking for a great tasting treat but don't care a lot about the price. 4/5
