In town visiting and decided to try this place. Glad I did, because from the service, to the food, and atmosphere, it exceeded expectations. Krystal took our orders and although I have no dietary restrictions, my friend was ordering for his wife and was very happy that they were able to accommodate with items being gluten free. Especially on Tuesdays. Will definitely return and visit.Ordered the hot chicken and waffles. You’re able to substitute the wings for tenders. Waffle had flavor by itself and the fresh warm peaches with house made butter complimented each other very well.

Yomamas is amazing!! I’m celiac and they are one of the only places I never have to worry about cross contamination. The staff is amazing and so sweet. Very personable people. Atmosphere is great and food is out of this world!

This was my first time here and I liked it. I was intrigued when I learned that the restaurant make their own syrup and butter mix. I like the location and the staff. It is hard nowadays to find staff in the restaurant industry that is attentive. The outside sitting is cool. The interior setup and decor is nice. Check them out.

Stopped in on 2/19, food was excellent and hot. We both had the chicken and waffles. The chicken wing were seasoned perfectly and the "house" syrup complemented the waffle very well! Service was excellent as well. If ever I'm in B'ham again, I will be sure to stop by here!

Great dining experience from begining to end. This location will need to expand. The food was delicious and filled with flavor, I mean seasoning! We tried the chicken and waffles with traditional wings w/ peach compote. That peach cobbler tasting compote for the waffles is just right. You can taste the cinnamon and hint of possibly nutmeg. The chicken was served with no sauce. We mixed a little syrup with hot sauce atop the waffle with peach compote, that was a bite of pure hot, sweet and spicy! The shrimp and grits was good. The water from the shrimp was served atop the grits, once drained, the grits was creamy, the sausage was spicy, a d the shrimp was cooked just right. We ordered a side of grilled catfish. The cajun seasoning on the fish was not overpowering when mixed with grits, it adds a kick to every bite. The wait for the food is not long.

Man what great food and home southern comfort food. i loved this place and glad we were in the area and try something new out of my comfort zone! Definitely was worth it!
Came here for brunch. They have Sat. brunch on the 2nd and last Saturday of each month. I ordered the chicken and waffle with fruit and it was sooooo good! They make your chicken how you like and I got mine extra crispy. The dining area is small but spacious. Finding tables on busier days is difficult. Wonderful option for breakfast or lunch!
