“Chunde is the best! Her cakes and baked goods are scrumptious! She is a talented artist as well. Service is friendly and the cakes are so moist and frosting is perfect. Try the strawberry- it's my fave.”
“I'm going to start off with saying that every experience I have had here has been a good one. The food is always good with more than enough portions. My wife and I can split anything on the menu and always leave full. The atmosphere is delightful with live music and the staff are always friendly. I would recommend to anyone.”
“Great location with good parking but with a weird drive thru workflow that makes it strange to get to the order menu if you happen to enter from the wrong direction. Overall the food is good, but like a lot of chains the serving sizes are getting smaller and prices are going up.”
“Very friendly staff. We carried our oldest son for his 19th birthday dinner and it was a spur of the moment thing. It was also around 8:00 pm on Thursday night and what we thought would be a small dinner with around 7 of his closest friends turned out to be about 25 or 30 when it was all said and done. The staff couldn't have been better. They just added a new table every 4 people until the people stopped coming. The service was fact and on point. We had a very good time.”
“I'll be back! Small, but great! Well worth the money! $14.75 for buffet and fountain drink!Vegetarian options: Side dishes, been burritos, salad bar.Wheelchair accessibility: Easy ramp at front of restaurant. Open floor space.”
“Great quality food. Exceptional service. Very clean place. Nice atmosphere. I highly recommend and I will visit again. The chicken was moist and seasoned well. The meatball sub was also very tasty. It’s beautifully decorated but very hard to find. The sign on the building is in all the dark colors. You cannot read it until you are on top of it. it is behind another building off of Hwy 280. It is worth the hunt to find it.Parking: They must do a lot of carry out service because there are several spaces right in front.”
“We order take out often at work, and this is one of my favorite places. Definitely recommend the Mushroom Swiss Wrap. Sounds weird, but excellently executed. They are always good about making sure all the extras are in the to go bag like plastic ware and condiments!Parking: Very small parking lot to match small dining room. It's a popular place, so you would probably have to wait on a table at busy times.”
“01/22/24 Wonderful BBQ joint! We tried a bit of just about everything, we'll be back before we go home to nibble on the rest! A local told us not to miss out on the Porky fries, this man did not lie. Yum!”
“I could eat here every day. The people make you feel like home. They remember the people and what they order. Makes it so easy if you have to just go by and grab food.Parking: Plenty of parkingKid-friendliness: Very kid friendly.”
“KFC is just the kind of nostalgic food you need when you want a break from cooking. Good food, always kind and helpful workers but the interior seems a bit outdated. Getting in out of there has also become difficult over the years due to the traffic and businesses around it.”
“The food use to be a lot better including the buffet before covid. I know costs have gone up, but the food isn't that good any more. I use to get Mongolian beef and was great. Now, it looks like watered down pork. The egg rolls are still good.Wheelchair accessibility: Easy access on the side walk but no handicap button to get in and there are two doors into the entrance. So, a little difficult.”
“Went through drive through, speed was fine, food was a little wait but ordered a kids meal and a chicken jr sandwich. Kids meal was hot but the chicken sandwich was cold.”
“They have the 3 F’s covered fast friendly food & the foods good too. I always customize my orders and 9 outta 10 times it’s right. It’s not quite 5 ⭐️ but it’s fast food. Thanks ”
“This is a great updated McDonald's. They have a self-service kiosk up front in case no one is there or you just don't want to interact with anyone. Food came out about 5 minutes after ordering. I decided to dine in. The seats and tables had crumbs but nothing a napkin can't fix. They had the TV on which was nice for not eating in silence. It was a nice view from where I sat. If I ever pass through Alabama again, I'd definitely stop here again.Vegetarian options: It's McDonald's. You can ask for substitutions but I wouldn't. Just go somewhere else.Dietary restrictions: They will do substitutions. Just have to ask them.Parking: Huge parking lot on both sides of the restaurant.Kid-friendliness: They have Happy Meals. No play ground though.Wheelchair accessibility: They do have a ramp area.”
“We took our out of town guests here for a day trip. The entire property is nicely maintained, the representatives were all friendly and professional. The best part was sampling a variety of flavors, for a $1 a scoop! Great way to spend an afternoon and learn a little about a Texas icon in the process.”
“This place was wonderful. I ordered the BBQ plate. My boyfriend got the fried chicken livers plate. We got an order of fried green tomatoes to share. The food was amazing. The tomatoes were cooked perfectly. I loved the coleslaw.”
“Some of the friendliest people in Harpersville. I believe they only do breakfast and lunch (not sure) but the quality of food and the effort is great. Connected to the Chevron, get gas and get home style cooked food. Stop in and try if you’re passing through. Thank me laterKid-friendliness: Friendly environment, everyone is respectable.Wheelchair accessibility: The wheelchair ramp is right in front of the door, or you can enter through the connected Chevron”
“I stopped by this afternoon. I wasn’t sure what I wanted so I told him to make me whatever and gave him a little preference. The coffee came out amazing, as well as the conversation while it was being prepared. The atmosphere is awesome! A cozy quiet place to enjoy an arrange of drinks and just soak in the vibe! Will return plenty more times as I’m local!”
“First time at Pizza & Pints. Very good pizza, among the best I have had. Not the usual pizza toppings, which was a surprise, but outstanding. Definately going back.Service was great.”
“Came here today after a little thrift shopping in Columbiana. The young women and men who work there were all so friendly and accommodating to a new patron. There's plenty of parking (at least at noon on a Saturday in November), it's butted up right next to the lake with ample outdoor seating, the place was clean inside and out even though it has more of a pseudo-dive bar/grill feel to it. They had a wide selection of food and drinks as well as some craft beers.I got their grilled pork chop with broccoli and mashed potatoes and it was all delicious. Everything was seasoned well and not too salty or bland. They had several large TVs and all were on different games so you had your choice. Also, these kids need a Christmas bonus, because they have to put up with some creepy regular guy who reiterated on several occasions that he "lives just 3 miles away" and within 15 mins there, I already knew he was married at 21 to his high school sweetheart from MD, they had only one child- a son, and he had two grandchildren, one three and the other 10 mos. His wife left him for some guy in the Air Force after 27 yrs together (25 married), and the guy's 8 yrs her junior. In December, it'll be a year since their divorce and they had to live in the same house for 3 mos while paperwork was finalized. He's lived all over the eastern seaboard from NY to FL and owns some business polishing concrete floors in commercial blogs and sells crayfish on the side. There's more, but that's all my fingers can handle typing right now. Needless to say, he invited me on his boat when he was clearly already drunk at noon (functioning alcoholic) so ladies.... if you see a guy talking about anything resembling this at the restaurant, run. RUN FAR, FAR AWAY and quickly. Those poor employees had to listen to these same stories the night before, too, apparently, because he said he'd "shut the place down last night."This is an absolutely perfect place to eat and enjoy yourself, provided that guy isn't there. They don't make drinks strong enough to dull the pain of listening to him drone on to strangers about his woes. ??????”
“Great selection of draught beers, a building with a character, a porch that allows dogs and smokers, a smart and helpful bartender, and prices lower than at the brewery, plus some fun and welcoming regulars make for a pleasant hangout for hard working as well as hardly working folk. The 5th star comes with some light snacks (chips, peanuts) and glasses instead of plastic cups. Still a fun place ..”
“Went to the Grape Stomp a few years ago and had a blast. It's where we became familiar with Morgan Creek wines and we've been buying them ever since. They have a great gift shop, too. Looking forward to visiting again.”
“Been here several times now at different times of day and I cannot express enough how good the experience is. The Food is always fresh, seasoned well and enjoyable. I love the hamburger steak with gravy and onions, mashed potatoes, & green beans. Don't forget a nice cup of fresh sweet tea yum! I cannot speak to all the employees because each time I've been I saw Shelby & David only. They are very kind and welcoming. David usually has a good station playing softly in the background, so you get to enjoy your meal with some music. Just barely loud enough to hear to get you singing along. Although they are sharing a space with a convenience store it is clean and tidy. If you want an affordable meal, that tastes great in a warm atmosphere, you should definitely stop in at Smokey's.”
“Service was impeccable and couldn't have been better. Greeted with a smile the moment we walked in. Home cooked meal that reminded me of how good spaghetti is for lunch. Found out they have a rotating menu for each day of the week which is sure to get me to.come back. Comfortable seating so as to not feel crowded and enough room to make sure there isn't a long wait if any. Worth your time and dollar.Parking: 15-20 spotsWheelchair accessibility: Wheel chair parking is available.”
“This is one of 3 reviews, that will have the same introduction! I decided to do my own version of a "taco crawl" and tested out 3 taco trucks I've driven by and have been wanting to try out! All 3 are in the SGV, and I'm SO glad to have tried them! El Pastorcito Taco II is outside of the Arcadia Park off Santa Anita Ave & just south of Huntington Drive. Based on the name, Al Pastor is their specialty, so naturally I picked out the Al Pastor taco! With a smokey flavor, onions & cilantro and a nicely sliced piece of pineapple topping the taco, it was worth the $2.50 it cost, and was rich in taste! Staff here were friendly, though it wasn't a super busy weekday evening. No seating here, which is totally fine, and it is by a big parking lot, so plan ahead to eat in your car, especially since you want to eat it hot & fresh! No worries though, everything comes on a Styrofoam tray, works great! A decent variety of other items on their menu as well - definitely a go-to when I want to get some legit al pastor tacos!”
“Ms. Booker yall were on your A Game today..Food was Hot and Delicious ...the service was top of the list and as always Ms. Booker is a gracious hostess...Thanks ”
“Cuppa Grace Cafe was our third TRY to find a Cappuccino in Sylacauga, Al. We were desperate at this point in time. Driving from Columbiana, looking for Cappuccino in Sylacauga. Well, you know how it is. The one thing that is unavailable is the one thing that you have to have. Cuppa Grace cafe is in town and no trouble in finding the cafe. Greeted as we entered the store. Store and atmosphere seems friendly. The owner waited on us and she answered our questions about her shop. My cappuccino had .....,....and caramel. Mardy had a vanilla cappuccino. We both enjoyed our drinks and conversation. Third time was CHARM for us on our quest for a cappuccino.”
“About the best dang bbq I've ever had. Sauce is killer, beans and collards are incredible. Blows any bbq joint in our area out of the water. Extremely reasonably priced for awesome food, which is refreshing in today's world. Keep up the good work”
“This was our first visit here and we will come back! The clear soup was very good and made in-house. The egg drop soup was excellent. Salads were fresh and generous. The ginger salad dressing , also made in-house was a little different from other places, but very good.I got the scallop hibachi. The scallops were very good and not overcooked/rubbery as you often get. The vegetables were a little undercooked. The sauce was fantastic! The rice was good, and their house yum yum sauce was excellent. My wife got the teriyaki chicken bento plate. The California rolls were generous, and they tasted very good. The teriyaki sauce on the chicken was also excellent. The sweet potato tempura was good, and a nice variation to the rest of the plate.Service was very prompt, attentive, and friendly.”
“I've been going here for years, can't explain how much I appreciate some good grub in the morning. They do great and id HIGHLY RECOMMEND????Vegetarian options: It's a doughnut shop.Parking: Go early before they sell out”
