“I love the gangster theme to the restaurant. The food was great and had me stuffed. Stacy was such a delight as our waitress. She was always ready for refills and if we had questions. The veal was delicious and if you save room for dessert, the cannoli is chef’s kiss. The breadsticks are also amazing.“
“I ordered a Philly steak n cheese. I've had it twice before and was the main reason for this visit, this time the meat was real dry. Overcooked I'd say. Other times it was GREAT.Now we ordered the trattoria LG pizza and it was great.Sweet tea was perfectParking: About 8 spots in front. 2 pick up spots. 2 wheelchair spits. Extra parking in back with back entrance.Restaurant is somewhat tucked in on a hill and can be difficult to find especially the first time. And north bound.Wheelchair accessibility: 2 parking spaces in front.Front door is regular size and seating is easier if it between regular meal times because it a very tight eating and walking area in front.Better seating in the back but you gotta get through everyone if it's busy hours.“
“I liked that the restaurant has a very inviting and relaxed atmosphere and that the tables are nicely spaced to allow for an intimate dining experience. My husband and I ate here for our anniversary and the food was perfect - a great blend of southern and Italian cuisine.“
“I am a recurring customer of Mandina’s. So, I wanted to give a few of my must-eats!Appetizer: Fried Ravioli or Gumbo10/10 so good!!!!(I dip my bread into the Gumbo and it’s probably my favorite thing ever.)Entree: Veal Marsala or the Filet Mignon!I also order some Alfredo at the table to go with it. I like the mix!Dessert: White Chocolate Bread PuddingIf you knew me (not that you will), you would know that our family is full of SUCKERS for bread pudding and we love this one!I’ve been going to Mandina’s since the opening! And I stop by anytime I’m in the area. I love the staff and the atmosphere! Also, there is a LOT of parking so this restaurant is easy to park at and you don’t have to walk too far!“
“Food was good and hot! Waitress was wonderful, checked on us multiple times. No lines, plenty of parking spaces. I would recommend that you watch your step especially (when it's been raining) there tile floor is slippery. Other than that it was a pleasant dining experience.“
“The food and service were great! The little garlic knots were especially yummy. The atmosphere only got four stars because it was dark where we were. It seemed really early in the day for the bar lights to be down.Vegetarian options: They have salads, pasta without meat, and cheese pizzas.Kid-friendliness: The atmosphere and pricing were acceptable for family dining. There were plenty of large tables, too.Wheelchair accessibility: Most tables were accessible. I didn't use the restroom, so I don't know if it was clean or accessible.“
“After living in the Detroit Metropolitan area for 26 years, I had become accustomed to good pizza. I have lived on the Gulf-Coast for about 5 years now, and I've never been able to find something that reminds me of home until Janino's! This place has the BEST pizza I've had in a long time. I ordered an 18" Brooklyn, their home-made Mozzarella sticks (sinfully good), a frozen Raspberry Margarita (delicious), and a whiskey/coke. Fantastic food, service, and atmosphere. If I could give more than 5-stars I would. I will definitely be returning. Thank you, Janino's! ^_^“
