We planned to go to the large Cajun restaurant next door, but the wait was an hour. So we walked over to this local place. Outstanding happenstance! My wife ordered fried seafood and her oysters were better than we had in N’Awlins. I had the terrific red beans and rice and catfish portion on top was excellent, and sausage was superb. Everything was phenomenal! We stared off with the calamari, it was perfectly fried and seasoned, the dipping sauce was very tasty as well. For our entrees I had the pick 2, shrimp and oysters, with Turnip Greens and cheese grits. Both were very good, the cheese grits were cheesy and so flavorful, we also had the duck gumbo and it was 5 stars as well. Keep up the great work! We willDefinitely be back.

If you haven’t tried this place you are missing out. Hubs said it was the best poboy he’s ever had (he tries them everywhere we go). I had fried shrimp with fries and fried okra. The shrimp was so tender, cooked perfectly! Cocktails were spot on, bartender has skills. Our server, Jenny, was perfect ?? made it such a pleasant experience. We will definitely return!!!
