“We were on our way back to Kentucky from Florida and wanted to stop and get breakfast. We were searching for places and Rays popped up. So glad we stopped. Southern charm was on point. Nancy was our waitress and she was awesome. Food was great! The prices were great too! Made us feel at home. Next time we come thru we will be stopping by again.“
“Southern foods like fried cornbread, butter beans, chicken and dressing, fried okra, and rutabaga. Also, rarely seen menu items like liver and onions and a fried chicken liver and gizzard plate. But don't worry, there are hamburgers, mac and cheese, sandwiches. Something for everyone.Hubby got the meatloaf, mashed potatoes and gravy, and butter beans. I ordered the 4 sides plate, and also chose the mashed potatoes and butter beans, a house salad, and banana pudding. Unfortunately the pudding was my least favorite because the bananas were CRUNCHY. But the butter beans were excellent and tasted almost exactly like my South Alabama Granny's.This was our second visit as we live about 2 hours away. We will definitely return when we are in the area.Be forewarned, if you go Sunday after church you will be waiting about 30 minutes.“

“Let me tell you I ordered a classic sirloin with avocado and double asparagus as a side after a painstaking wait I received a simple sirloin steak no avocado but definitely enough asparagus. Upset my order was incorrect my server got Ryan the manager. Ryan rapidly resolved my issue by cooking my order himself. When Ryan returned he bought back the correct order cooked to perfection. I don't know who hired Ryan but I'm sure they are happy with the results.“
“This restaurant is a very down home place! I can remember when my aunt owned it and miss charlotte has just continued the amazing job! “Very good food. We love to eat here after visiting Flowers Hospital because it's convenient and cheap compared to everything else (WAY cheaper than fast food nearby EVEN!). No where else can my child and I eat for only $20. We always get water, and share the all star meal with the classic waffle and bacon, and a triple hash brown. “Food and service always on point. We went Saturday night for date night and I was not happy with my table but food was amazing, I had the pork chop and she had a ribeye, both were great. She loved her lemon drop martini and I had a couple of traditional old fashioneds“

“Difficult to get into parking lot due to road construction but once in you'll be welcomed and served quickly. Waitstaff are friendly and attentive. Food is cooked as you ordered. If you like bacon crispy that's how you'll get it. Take note if you order waffles and like them crispy, be sure to say that otherwise you'll get soft waffles. Butter tubs are actually spread, so if you're avoiding preservatives take note. There is no rye bread for toast but wheat, white and raisin are good as are the biscuits. Coffee is always hot and fillups are continuous. The only downside is a jukebox. Usually the breakfast crowd is content to chat with each other but every once and a while, well you know. So I'm local and enjoy this wafflehouse weekly. It's fun to see familiar faces.Good food, good cheer, good atmosphere! Decent prices as well.“
“As far as Waffle House goes, I didn’t prefer this one. Some mistakes were made on a very simple order for a table of three, and some of the food was overcooked. Also a bit stronger grease smell than is comfortable. One thing about Waffle House is that it’s usually a consistent experience anywhere you go, so maybe they were just having one of those nights. I would try it again before removing it from my Dothan late night list.“
“Best cracker barrel I've ever eaten at. The portions were huge. Food was sooo hot. The wattress could have been a little better considering they went really busy. The chicken and dumplings were so good. Tons of chicken. The chicken fried steak actually looked and tasted like chicken. The gravy was hot and not just dripped on top. Mashed potatoes weren't streaming hot but weren't cold.“

“We had a wonderful experience during our first visit to Metro Diner today. The manager, Brittney, was fantastic and took the time to explain what type of fish was used for our order (Fish & Chips). Casey, our server, was excellent as well. We will defininitely go back to try other items on the menu. I just wish you were closer to Ozark!“
