Bill E’s is my wife and my go-to bar/restaurant for a great selection of beers on tap, sports on tv and burgers. Tonight I went a different direction and ordered the pulled pork platter. I was utterly disappointed in the quality of my meal. The pulled pork was mush, and the sides came in little plastic cups. I was not even remotely full when I was done eating. Loved this place when my boyfriend and I went down there for my birthday in February. The burgers are good and I love their beers! We will definitely be back once we make another trip in June! Hopefully we can see one of their live bands! :)

A terrific and a quirky restaurant. But what you really need to know is THE BACON. Bill E's Small Batch Bacon is coveted by fine restaurants throughout the country. It regularly shows up in the top 3 bacons of the United States, along with Broadbent, Kuttawa, KY, and Benton's, Madisonville, TN.Bill E sells his bacon here in 1 lb packages. Cook it low and slow in about a 1/4" of previously saved bacon grease. A divine experience!
