The place may be Harp&Clover and identify as an Irish Pub, but the menu is ALL over the map, and I don't mean the map of Ireland. Reuben egg rolls (they were pretty tasty), pasta Sicilian (husband said a few bites in the flavors became overwhelmingly like balsamic vinegar and turned it unenjoyable), "shepherd's pie" (tasted like a denty moore beef stew. It was a glorified beef stew with mashed potatoes on top). The reviews built it up and ended up being a huge letdown.

Best Ruben sandwich in Alabama, love everything about this place. We had a great evening, waiters stayed on top of making sure everything was good and if we needed anything. Chef came out and ask if we were pleased with our food. Great atmosphere, we will definitely come

My husband’s birthday today, we just got off from work and I figured I want to treat him a good dinner We were told to wait for 15 minutes but we’re waiting for over 30 minutes and they let people sat down first before us. It’s okay if your friends came but don’t make it obvious. We are all making business… favoritism will not pay your bills. There’s a lot of good restaurants to go to ….

First time eating here. I got a Shepard’s pie with a side salad. Was impressed the side salad had fresh greens and not just iceberg lettuce. The shepherds pie was delicious though a bit small if you’re hungry. Also enjoyed the service from the bartender and would go back!

There was a delicious pretzel- door was great. Service was eh. But our server was nice - whoever is managing the tables though was not real great. We waited for over an hour for our table, and another hour and half for our food. Glasses were dirty. I'll probably try it again - maybe they were having an off night. If you have a large group like ours there's a service charge that goes directly to the server (we asked). But read carefully - it's not an Irish Pub. It's a restaurant that serves Irish faire- closes at 9. The Reuben was delicious too.

Was very disappointed with the food. Expected their regular menu but had to settle for a pop up menu that was below their usual standard. My blackened fish had very little blackened ingredients if it had any at all. Overall a very disappointing experience.

Best Ruben I've had since moving to Alabama! Great bread pudding. Definitely will be back. We booked an 11am Sat gathering for up to 10 people. Amazingly our group grew to 20. The staff were super accommodating and our server was up to the challenge.
