Only been here once loved it now we're back in gadsden and was excited to go back. It's all dark a empty parking lot with for lease sign in it even the help in the cigar bar block or two up the road was telling us what to order just before we left there

We recently enjoyed a wonderful Friday night dinner at Nola on 2nd. This was our first visit. From the moment we arrived, the staff was very welcoming. The welcoming host took us our reserved table, we were attended to throughout our meal, and Cassidy was especially kind. We couldn’t have asked for a better atmosphere.Thank you for making our experience memorable. Our family had experienced a sad week but this dinner and atmosphere lifted our spirits considerably.Thank you,Julie, Tim and our special guest from Virginia

Unique. Crowded. Long wait time. Great menu. Plenty of parking. Not a lot of outside places to sit and wait.

Excellent food and service. You have to try the Cajun steak with the seafood sauce. The cocktails are also good and unique.

Sorry, no pics, but the Server was Superlative, the Food was Fabulous, and the Atmosphere was Absolutely Amazing After All!!I had the Crawfish something (I can't spell it, but it sounds French). Anyway, I have no problem recommending this place, but the kitchen closes at 8pm so be sure you allow yourself plenty of time to order before the folks in the kitchen start shutting down just to respect their time and get home to tuck their kids into bed at a decent time is all I'm saying...... ENJOY ?

Hostess was nice. Server was rather inattentive as it took a while to get a spoon for the gumbo we ordered as a side. It was the worst gumbo I have ever had. This gumbo was not seafood or chicken based. I couldn't quite place it but the meat consistency was closest to beef. Thee was also a tomato-like overtone which I have never encountered in a gumbo. I had the scallops special. The scallops were very nicely cooked but there was no sauce whatsoever leaving them dry and slightly bland. Big points for cooking them right though. All in all... just a disappointing experience.

Wonderful environment, very pleasant staff and good food! Made out stop for a quick drink turned into a full meal! Really enjoyed our visit! Will stop here again when in the area!

Great atmosphere and ambiance, with the exception of loud music, but it does have a bar. The food was fabulous. We never knew about this place tucked back off the road, but our friend told us about it. Our waitress was very kind and friendly. We will tell others and plan to return in the future.

Great restaurant and amazing service! Our friends recently moved back and suggested Nolas, for dinner, as they had been here recently. From the drinks to dessert, this place did not disappoint. Make sure to try the roasted brussel sprouts and the bread pudding. We all had different entrees and each dish was delicious. There was live music, by Chandler, who rounded out the experience. We never felt rushed and Cassidy (server) made us feel welcome and right at home. If you haven't tried, please do; and if it's been awhile, what are you waiting for?!?!. We will be back once we return to AL. Thank you!

Excellent all the way down the chain! Or in this case the beads. This is a modern Louisiana style restaurant, with a very unique decor especially for a gadsden AL restaurant. I believe it to be very pleasing, and with staff members like our waitress, the fun loving vibes don't stop there. I love the unique cuisine! Such a bizarre take on common home cooked recipes and the flavors are astonishing! I had the fried green tomatoes (cooked with seafood?) Yes, and it was delicious! My entre was their poe boy with "debries" on toasted bread. So good! And for desert deep fried oreos!! Yes!!This all goes without saying the prices are reasonable and the atmosphere is so transportive. Everyone was awesome and you can tell they are proud. I love this place personally and I will for sure be returning.Good job NOLA on Second!

Alisha was our server. She did an amazing job. Our food was beyond fabulous. Get the pork chops!! Hubby had crab cakes. Delicious. Great live music by Chandler. It was a evening and they didn't even seem to mind that we came in so close to closing. I can't wait to come back! Thanks!!
