For a Sunday lunch, we were greeted by the triple-decade owner, whose spouse was working the grill. She was apologetic that they were understaffed bc they can’t obtain enough reliable employees. So, the wait was longer than hoped-for but well worth it! Coleslaw and fresh hush puppies followed our drink order. The fresh catch was perfectly prepared, the shrimp grits side dish was the creamiest ever, and the chocolate chess pie was delish! A definitely terrific, locally-known place that deserves your dime, if you have a little time.

The food is fresh and seasoned well. I love their blackened steaks or scampi. Never had a bad experience. Very pleasant atmosphere.

Terrible food and expensive. Had 1 piece of greasy fish and a few fries, oh and some cole slaw with no taste at all. Paid 23.00 for a plate of grease! Don't waste your time.

Drove by on Aug 5,2020. Open only for curb service. We were looking for a place to sit down so we passed it by.

My girlfriend and I ate there last night. The staff was friendly and prompt. The slaw and hush puppies were good. We both had catfish, one blackened and the other one fried. They both were delicious. The prices were reasonable. The atmosphere was great, reminded me a little of Cracker Barrel.

We enjoyed our Sunday lunch from The Fisherman. The blackened chicken breast was delicious, and my husband loved the fried triggerfish.
