“Went to the Grape Stomp a few years ago and had a blast. It's where we became familiar with Morgan Creek wines and we've been buying them ever since. They have a great gift shop, too. Looking forward to visiting again.”
“This is one of 3 reviews, that will have the same introduction! I decided to do my own version of a "taco crawl" and tested out 3 taco trucks I've driven by and have been wanting to try out! All 3 are in the SGV, and I'm SO glad to have tried them! El Pastorcito Taco II is outside of the Arcadia Park off Santa Anita Ave & just south of Huntington Drive. Based on the name, Al Pastor is their specialty, so naturally I picked out the Al Pastor taco! With a smokey flavor, onions & cilantro and a nicely sliced piece of pineapple topping the taco, it was worth the $2.50 it cost, and was rich in taste! Staff here were friendly, though it wasn't a super busy weekday evening. No seating here, which is totally fine, and it is by a big parking lot, so plan ahead to eat in your car, especially since you want to eat it hot & fresh! No worries though, everything comes on a Styrofoam tray, works great! A decent variety of other items on their menu as well - definitely a go-to when I want to get some legit al pastor tacos!”
“About the best dang bbq I've ever had. Sauce is killer, beans and collards are incredible. Blows any bbq joint in our area out of the water. Extremely reasonably priced for awesome food, which is refreshing in today's world. Keep up the good work”
“Best Jacks I've ever been to! Friendly staff! I get my food quickly and its all warm and delicious! I almost given up on Jack's due to the awful experience I had in columbiana but thanks to the one is Harpersville I'll be eating Jacks more often.”
“They were amazing. I went right after work. Around 9 A.M. I server breakfast constantly so the idea of breakfast food made me sick. They went out of their way to fix something for me. To fix what I wanted with amazing attitudes, accommodations, and with smiles the entire time. Both, the drive through girl and cook deserve props!!!It was perfect and I am very appreciative for them. Thank you guys.”
“Popeyes seems to hire good people. This location like many others I've visited over the years, was staffed by a group of dedicated and friendly employees! The food was hot, fresh, and tasty! But the star of this location was the staff and their outstanding service! I will definitely be back!”
“I've been going here for years, can't explain how much I appreciate some good grub in the morning. They do great and id HIGHLY RECOMMEND????Vegetarian options: It's a doughnut shop.Parking: Go early before they sell out”
“Chunde is the best! Her cakes and baked goods are scrumptious! She is a talented artist as well. Service is friendly and the cakes are so moist and frosting is perfect. Try the strawberry- it's my fave.”
“I stopped by this afternoon. I wasn’t sure what I wanted so I told him to make me whatever and gave him a little preference. The coffee came out amazing, as well as the conversation while it was being prepared. The atmosphere is awesome! A cozy quiet place to enjoy an arrange of drinks and just soak in the vibe! Will return plenty more times as I’m local!”
“The food was Excellent . The service was awesome . Jennifer was incredible. She smiled every time she served me. Plus, she didn't miss a step on all the menu items she gave me .Just a delite!”
“I'm going to start off with saying that every experience I have had here has been a good one. The food is always good with more than enough portions. My wife and I can split anything on the menu and always leave full. The atmosphere is delightful with live music and the staff are always friendly. I would recommend to anyone.”
“Service was impeccable and couldn't have been better. Greeted with a smile the moment we walked in. Home cooked meal that reminded me of how good spaghetti is for lunch. Found out they have a rotating menu for each day of the week which is sure to get me to.come back. Comfortable seating so as to not feel crowded and enough room to make sure there isn't a long wait if any. Worth your time and dollar.Parking: 15-20 spotsWheelchair accessibility: Wheel chair parking is available.”
“they have food trucks at this location from time to time check them out the bartenders are great very laid back fun atmosphere and a big shout out to EllieB's and Seafood Queen for outstanding ”
“Great location with good parking but with a weird drive thru workflow that makes it strange to get to the order menu if you happen to enter from the wrong direction. Overall the food is good, but like a lot of chains the serving sizes are getting smaller and prices are going up.”
“Very friendly staff. We carried our oldest son for his 19th birthday dinner and it was a spur of the moment thing. It was also around 8:00 pm on Thursday night and what we thought would be a small dinner with around 7 of his closest friends turned out to be about 25 or 30 when it was all said and done. The staff couldn't have been better. They just added a new table every 4 people until the people stopped coming. The service was fact and on point. We had a very good time.”
“Best bar and restaurant on Logan Martin Lake. Hours are limited except on the weekend. Inside is old school bar with comfortable seating. Kid friendly until night when it goes 18 and up. The chef is wonderful at creating delicious seafood and chicken dishes along with a very solid steak sandwich. My favorite dish is the fried shrimp dinner the shrimp is done tempura style and is such a nice change of pace from heavier fried food at most places in town. They also have a full bar and a good beer selection. Table service inside and outside on the lovely patio that gives you a great view to watch boats motor by. Everyone from the staff to the crowd is friendly and welcoming so don't let the exterior put you off. The location is down by the damn and easy to get to on the water. Via land it's a bit of a haul if you are in Pell City but I think well worth it.Parking: During summer you can tie your boat up. Coming via car decent sized lot in front of building but can get crowded. It's on a narrow peninsula so watch your tires if parking on street its a drop on the sides.Kid-friendliness: They have high chairs and a kids menu.”
“I'll be back! Small, but great! Well worth the money! $14.75 for buffet and fountain drink!Vegetarian options: Side dishes, been burritos, salad bar.Wheelchair accessibility: Easy ramp at front of restaurant. Open floor space.”
“Great quality food. Exceptional service. Very clean place. Nice atmosphere. I highly recommend and I will visit again. The chicken was moist and seasoned well. The meatball sub was also very tasty. It’s beautifully decorated but very hard to find. The sign on the building is in all the dark colors. You cannot read it until you are on top of it. it is behind another building off of Hwy 280. It is worth the hunt to find it.Parking: They must do a lot of carry out service because there are several spaces right in front.”
“We order take out often at work, and this is one of my favorite places. Definitely recommend the Mushroom Swiss Wrap. Sounds weird, but excellently executed. They are always good about making sure all the extras are in the to go bag like plastic ware and condiments!Parking: Very small parking lot to match small dining room. It's a popular place, so you would probably have to wait on a table at busy times.”
“We ordered a cake for my mom’s 80th birthday. The cake was beautiful and the taste was amazing!!! Words cannot express how much we appreciate the flavor of REAL ICING! AND A MOIST CAKE!!! Such a difference from fondant or a whipped topping. Highly recommend ordering your next cake from Girl Friday!! Thank you very much!! ❤️”
“01/22/24 Wonderful BBQ joint! We tried a bit of just about everything, we'll be back before we go home to nibble on the rest! A local told us not to miss out on the Porky fries, this man did not lie. Yum!”
“I could eat here every day. The people make you feel like home. They remember the people and what they order. Makes it so easy if you have to just go by and grab food.Parking: Plenty of parkingKid-friendliness: Very kid friendly.”
“As Southern as you could wish for and as friendly. Oh my goodness. The food is wonderful. They are trucker friendly. There is No overnight parking, but that's fine because overnight/long stopped trucks would get in the way of other truckers getting a truly good meal. I'm saving this place for future meals.”
“KFC is just the kind of nostalgic food you need when you want a break from cooking. Good food, always kind and helpful workers but the interior seems a bit outdated. Getting in out of there has also become difficult over the years due to the traffic and businesses around it.”
“The food use to be a lot better including the buffet before covid. I know costs have gone up, but the food isn't that good any more. I use to get Mongolian beef and was great. Now, it looks like watered down pork. The egg rolls are still good.Wheelchair accessibility: Easy access on the side walk but no handicap button to get in and there are two doors into the entrance. So, a little difficult.”
“Went through drive through, speed was fine, food was a little wait but ordered a kids meal and a chicken jr sandwich. Kids meal was hot but the chicken sandwich was cold.”
“They have the 3 F’s covered fast friendly food & the foods good too. I always customize my orders and 9 outta 10 times it’s right. It’s not quite 5 ⭐️ but it’s fast food. Thanks ”
“This is a great updated McDonald's. They have a self-service kiosk up front in case no one is there or you just don't want to interact with anyone. Food came out about 5 minutes after ordering. I decided to dine in. The seats and tables had crumbs but nothing a napkin can't fix. They had the TV on which was nice for not eating in silence. It was a nice view from where I sat. If I ever pass through Alabama again, I'd definitely stop here again.Vegetarian options: It's McDonald's. You can ask for substitutions but I wouldn't. Just go somewhere else.Dietary restrictions: They will do substitutions. Just have to ask them.Parking: Huge parking lot on both sides of the restaurant.Kid-friendliness: They have Happy Meals. No play ground though.Wheelchair accessibility: They do have a ramp area.”
“Some of the friendliest people in Harpersville. I believe they only do breakfast and lunch (not sure) but the quality of food and the effort is great. Connected to the Chevron, get gas and get home style cooked food. Stop in and try if you’re passing through. Thank me laterKid-friendliness: Friendly environment, everyone is respectable.Wheelchair accessibility: The wheelchair ramp is right in front of the door, or you can enter through the connected Chevron”
