“Last night my husband and I ate dinner at Firebirds. Our steaks were INCREDIBLE. They could compete with Fleming’s or Perry’s. Our service was excellent. I wish I remembered our servers name, she was quick and very kind (she had on a David Yurman cross pendant, young and light brown hair). I do recommend making a reservation if you’re going on a Friday/Saturday night. As we were leaving, we heard the hostess say it would be a 3 hour wait for the party that just arrived. Will be back!“
“I’ve been going to O’Sushi almost weekly for a couple years and never took the time to leave a review until now. If you love raw tuna rolls and yum yum sauce, theirs is personally my favorite and the best of all the other sushi restaurants around Hoover. I order the same dishes frequently (Roll Tide Roll and the Fantasy Island) and each time I go they present the dish beautifully, and a little differently each time. Today I got the Fantasy Island and the Sushi Chef presented it in the shape of what looks like a crab haha (At least that’s what I saw). They are kind of tucked away so they were one of the last sushi places I tried since moving to Birmingham and it’s a shame. Don’t let the small outside presence fool you, their quality is above par in comparison to the other sushi restaurants around the area! Also pictured below is the Roll Tide Roll ??“
“We had great service and great food! Portion sizes were large and the quality and presentation of the food was fantastic. A nice atmosphere, white tablecloth dining, but casual enough that it made for a nice date night or a night out with the entire family. We will definitely be back. Zane was our server and he was fantastic and very knowledgeable about all of the menu items, daily specials, and made great recommendations. We will definitely be back!“
“Carrot cake is truly all I will ever need here. It's warm, it's moist, it's spiced well... just YUMMMM. The cajun trout was on special and was absolutely delicious. Crab cakes were delicious as always as well. I don't get around to J Alexanders often, but I'm always reminded to stop by more often when I do happen to stop in.“
“My family and I enjoyed the food and service at Saltgrass. Nick was our server and he was excellent. What I most loved about Nick was his attention to every detail. He was knowledgeable about the food selections and drinks. He made sure to treat us as if we were the only family dining today. He was patient and attentive. We never felt rushed, although the restaurant was packed with people. Nick rocked!!“
“Nice, quiet, peaceful dining area. We got the Cream Cheese Harumaki, the Combination Egg Foo Young, and the Orange Chicken. The Orange Chicken was our favorite. We got a side of hot chili oil that we added to it, it was great. Bold citrus flavor with orange peel zest, sweet, bitter, and spicy. Very nice.Want to try the Twice Cooked Pork next time!“
“My boyfriend and I took my Mom and Dad out for dinner. We wanted something different so we drove over 2 hours, and it wasn't a disappointment. Everything was phenomenal. From our hostess to our waitress, and the food was ?. My parents enjoyed it and so did we. Definitely worth the drive and the 5 STAR!!!“
“The food was absolutely amazing! 8 highly suggest that if you like wings then you've definitely gotta try this place out. Hands down the best wings I've ever had! Seriously, the best! As for the service it definitely could've been better as far as the guy behind the counter taking my order, he could've been a little more helpful when explaining the menu ECT... Lastly, the atmosphere. Wait! What atmosphere? There is no atmosphere. Seriously, go check this place out and then get back at me about an atmosphere. I'll let you be the judge of that. “The food here is really good! I had the Mardi Gras pasta and it was delicious. Also had the Royal Red shrimp scampi appetizer, and it was also delicious. I do want to note that the two hostesses that checked us in weren't super social or friendly. Their tones were flat and they seemed more interested in being on their phones and talking to each other. A third hostess came along and was very friendly and engaging, keeping us updated of when our table was going to be ready.“
“20240327 ? 20% tip was already included in my bill. When I was paying with my credit card, it asked for tip. So I tipped $30 for $140 total, not knowing that 20% tip was included!! ? Good thing Ricardo was great, and with Bidenomics... the extra tip might help Ricardo out. I guess I should check my bills in the future.20240326 so happy this restaurant is dogfriendly. In town for a day and wanted a nice meal with my friend and her family. Ricardo was the best waiter. He was attentive, and very polite and nice. The food was delicious. I really like the stuffed grouper.“
