This reminds me of home, always have to have it when I'm back in town. The quarter chicken plate with hushpuppies, French fries and green beans or the Brunswick stew.. honestly everything is great southern bbq AND THE COCONUT PIE
What can you say - it's Gibson's. Have been here forever. They are closed until the spring due to a kitchen fire. Maybe that will give them a chance to update the decor, but I doubt they will. The dining room needs a serious makeover. Breakfast is always pretty good, and service is reasonably fast. Wait staff is not particularly friendly. Always had great food here! I hate that Gibson's is officially closed after all these years, however I hope Grace Lutheran is able to make good use of the property. Loved the Brunswick stew!!Parking: Don't think I usually had too much trouble with parking.
