“Great new local business with a few dim sum options too! My husband and I really enjoyed the sushi here and the owner was very nice.I ordered the mango madness roll and the salmon avocado mango taco and they were both very tasty. The taco had a nice tempura-like breading on the outside which made it nice and crunchy. The soup dumplings were also very tasty as an appetizer and i look forward to coming back to try the ha gao, siu mai, and the infamous cheeto roll. Finally, the graphic designers and artists they hired are incredible. The menus look fantastic (easy to read and not sticky) and the walls are covered in fun prints and really liven the place up.“
“I’ve lived in Huntsville for 28 years now. I’ve always seen Miyako’s ever since I was 4-5 years old. I stopped in to get some to-go and it took less than 5 minutes to look at the menu, order and have it ready walking out the door. The rolls were great, fresh flavors, sushi rice was perfect, not hard and not too sour or too soft. I know they’ve been in business atleast 25 years and I can see why. Great sushi! I’m not a big “foodie” but love to see smaller restaurants succeed. This restaurant was a 5/5 ⭐️ review from me.“
“I don’t have the credibility to be talking about perfect scores, but if I did this place would get one from me. The food was fantastic. I chose to try a boba caramel milk tea (if I said any of that right) for the first time ever. I haven’t been so pleasantly surprised by balls popping in my mouth since freshman hazing week. I appreciate how it slowed down how fast I wanted to drink it. The crab rangoon here is the best place I’ve had in Huntsville. I don’t know if real crab is used, but there was a freshness that really set it off from any other place I’ve had it from here. I got a fried sushi roll I forgot the name of, and my wife got the chicken teriyaki. Both were really good.My favorite thing about this place is how the staff interacted with everyone and each other. They seem to support and back one another up, and I feel like that says a lot about the kind of place it is.Parking: Parking is easy to get to from a red light and what you’d expect from a shopping center parking lot.“
“Good food. A little expensive for what you get. I got the Las Vegas roll and it was tiny. Paired with a side of shrimp fried rice it was pretty good, but I ended up stopping at what a burger for a small burger later that night. So to leave a little hungry was 45 dollars. Also service was little sub par, only had my canal water (tasted suspect) refilled one time. Everyone I was with enjoyed their food, quality was good just not much of it.“
“This was my first time here. It was better than I expected it to be! Got the grilled salmon bowl with brown rice. The salmon is some of the best salmon I've gotten at a restaurant in Huntsville. The crispy Brussel sprouts are AMAZING! the only issue I had was the music volume. It's nice if you're alone but it would be impossible to have a conversation without yelling at the person you're eating with.“
“I have heard good service every time that I have went. The fire mountain salmon is a bit underwhelming. I did expect a lot more fire so I suppose the fire part is red to the color maybe. But I always get the chicken with garlic sauce but I substitute the chicken breast. I don't eat meat and it's delicious. I absolutely love it. I always come in and get old-fashioned with my food and it's good. True fan“
“Restaurant was very clean. They apparently have a drive thru window for pickup orders. They do a lot of carry out orders and seem to have few staff so if you dine it your wait time may be a little longer than expected but still was under 10 minutes. Food is very good. Egg drop soup was good and nice and hot. All our meals were very tasty. Had the general tso chicken, pineapple chicken, and sweet and sour chicken.“
“We frequent I Love Sushi in Jones Valley and we love it! The sweet potato rolls, love shrimp, and edamame are our go to favorites! My son decided he wanted Sushi for his birthday so the family loaded up and went. Our server handled our crazy party of 10 with ease and humor (she had us laughing every time she came in). We enjoyed getting to sit in the party room and everybody was bragging about how delicious their food was!“
“This was my first time at Scene Restaurant and I had a great experience! The food and service was excellent. Our waitress, Laya Howard was sweet, quick, professional, and friendly. Kudos to Laya and the others who made our our experience worth coming back!“
“Good quick service with amazing flavorful meals! Ordered Thai coffee which was delicious and packed with caffeine and the Kao So and Panang Chicken Curry both Thai Spicy heat! Thai spicy is no joke so be cautious. Only reason for 4 star is because our side dish plates were not cleaned 100% well and had some small rice residue stuck to the plates and our server didn't pay too much attention to us or refill our drinks when they were empty for quite some time. Other than that though, food is delicious with good portions for a higher than average price.“
“Rock N Roll Sushi offers an outstanding dining experience, combining delicious food with a vibrant atmosphere. The menu features an array of creative sushi rolls that was crafted with fresh ingredients and innovative flavors. Our waiter was very professional and recommended the fried cheese cake which was an outstanding desert option! The only recommendation I have is service the bathrooms regularly. Great place to dine!!!“
“Hadn't been to Drakes before so decided to try it out around noon on a Saturday with my wife and two kids. Despite being pretty busy we were seated without a wait. Waitress was nice and took orders, drinks arrived pretty quickly. Ambiance was kind of a brighter sports bar but still family-friendly. Loud music and conversation but not obnoxiously so, lot of families present. On to the food. Let's be honest - the place is a little on the expensive side. Cup of chili for $6, salads start at $14 and go north of $18, all the burgers are $14+ with one side etc. That being said, I don't knock of stars for higher prices, you can check the menu before you show up and go elsewhere, but I do want to point it out.I ordered the Triple Double cheeseburger Sliders and was able to sub out the side for chili for $2, which I felt was a good deal. The burgers were well done but sliders are kinda to get anything else and they tasted good. To be fair, they didn't ask how I wanted them so that's just how they come. No complaints about the burgers besides the size. Chili seemed like it was made fresh and tasted really good. Scattering of beans, hamburger was diced very fine. Great flavor, not too hot or top greasy.Wife got the chopped Chicken Salad but opted to swap out chicken for salmon. She thought there was a bit too much dressing (order it on the side). She fel the salmon was cooked a little more then she asked for but was still good -- a good entree sized serving of salmon. Everything else in salad was great.Kids got mac-n-cheese and chicken strips. The chicken strips were grilled and they were probably the best kids chicken s trips I've tried. My daughter thought they were one of the better ones she'd tried as well. Mac-N-Cheese was good.$65 prior to gratuity for all that, two waters, 1 soda and a 23oz beer. Kinda high but they offered a military discount that was very generous. Came out to just over $51 after discount which I appreciated a lot.As long as you are OK paying for quality good, you won't be disappointed -- food here is great and service is good too.“
“This place is great. The cucumber salad and the Jailhouse roll make a great dinner whether you dine-in or get delivery. Service is always friendly and fast. Our kids like it too, because they can get hibachi chicken or steak. I was glad that this place opened in South Huntsville and I hope it stays.“
“Pretty good food and great ambience! (Very cozy) Staff was lovely. The wait time was about five minutes which was not bad at all! Over all experience was pretty great! Definitely recommend if you want some good Japanese food with the family that is affordable.“
“My family and I ate dinner at this restaurant for the first time last night to celebrate my niece 's birthday. The food, service and atmosphere we're great! The chefs we're fantastic! I applaud the job they do. The meat, veggies ard rice all had the same flavor. I loved it but would have liked some pineapples or something to give chicken a different taste. The salad was great and the soup wasn't bad either. The large portions were great and I was stuffed when I left.? The prices were reasonable and the chef's tip is added into the ticket so there's no need to leave a tip on the table. Yes, I would recommend this restaurant for any smaller large group and the kids would love it too!“
“The menu is pretty small but decently sized for a sushi stop! Its not as expensive as other sit down sushi places near by and they have options of poki, ramen, and sushi- we went with the sushi and ordered a spicy tuna, roll tide roll, and tigers pride roll - and we ate everything. It was well made, tasted fresh and came to the table really quickly.Id totally come back - parking can be a bit of a hassle but thats totally not their fault.Wheelchair accessibility: Curb ramp leads up to sidewalk- and its entirely on a single floor level.“
