Blimpie

My husband and I were talking about sub sandwiches and wondered if there's a Blimpie near Huntsville. I checked Yelp and found there is a Blimpie in Madison. I drove there Friday to check them out. When I went inside, I could smell fresh bread being baked. I was the only customer which was nice as I was able to take my time ordering. I used to eat at Blimpie subs years ago, so I was surprised to find one in Madison on my return to the South! It was just as I remembered it. Everything is sliced to order and very reasonably priced. I even tried a panini pressed one since that was kind of new to me from this establishment! I just wish the sandwich maker was better trained on using the panini press. Blimpie is in an out of the way place way out Browns Ferry Rd. We stopped by there the other day and had great service and great food. It's like Subway on steroids. Why aren't there more of these restaurants in the HSV area?
