“Incredible experience! I would give 6 stars if I could. This restaurant was recommended to us by a family friend and it did not disappoint. 3 course meal- started with the scallops (which were to die for) and a delicious crispy fish/rice, then salads, then panko crusted fish and halibut for our entrees. The donut and popcorn ice cream for dessert were also so unique and delicious! Our server, Mark, was excellent- very attentive and kind, we enjoyed our conversation with him! The atmosphere was great too. Would highly recommend this place to anyone.“
“What an amazing place with so much of Mobiles Irish love! Fun place that has a lot of live music and fun filled events all year around. We had the burgers and Po’boys (blackened) with the artichoke and spinach dip to start (absolutely KILLER). They have indoor and outdoor seating with road side parking. Definitely a place you want to try if you are looking for some good mobile food.“
“My husband and I stopped in on our way to Florida. The service was so fast and courteous. The restaurant and restrooms were so clean. The food was perfectly seasoned, melt in your mouth meats. So much food too. We took half of it with us.“
“Cozy, intimate, great little space. Food can be ordered from The Noble South menu which is next door and owned by the same people. Randy Jennings is the manager and master mixologist for Sidecar. He makes excellent custom cocktails. Highly recommend.“
“Stopped in for a “snack” to hold me over until returning home for dinner. What a charming hole-in-the-wall type place! Ordered a cup of gumbo and it was phenomenal, although a tad heavy on the rice. Wonderful taste and had multiple large shrimp in it as well as Conecuh sausage; the roux tasted delicious. The waitress was adorable and very attentive. Will definitely be back when I’m in the area!“
“Breakfast today was perfect start for the last day of a long road trip. Gal that took care of me was proud to have 6 years working at Bob’s and that the place is coming up on the 10 year anniversary. She and the rest of the crew make the place great!“
“Went there with some girls for my birthday. Great environment, started with $2 off wines during happy hour and got the crab dip. Super tasty. The charcuterie board was a good size for the price (we got the pick 3). The duck ravioli was very small for the $16 price, would not do again. Great waitress too!“
“The Royal Knight is a dimly lit dive bar that serves great lunches. It’s never busy so easy to get in and out quickly. During the week they have daily specials but the menu items are also good. They specialize in typical southern cuisine. My son loves the pork chops or chicken bites. The pork chops come with sides and the chicken bites (small fried white meat pieces) are more of an appetizer but you get plenty. Dipped in bbq they are amazing. I’ve tried their spaghetti and their hamburger steak and both are really good. The hamburger steak is a regular menu item but the spaghetti isn’t. Highly recommend for a good lunch.“
“When we went in it took us a while to be seated, but when they did they lead us through the whole place and sat my party of 8 and a baby in what looked like a secluded meeting room. The walls weren't really complete and there were a few pipes on the wall. The food was pretty good, I got a friggin PECAN CHICKEN BREAST like what?!? That was good, but not 5 stars. The only reason I put service at 5 ⭐ is because when the guy brought our dessert, which was bread pudding, he asked where to put it and I said jokingly "right here!" as a motioned in front of me. Bro didn't even hesitate and just ploped it down in front of me lol. Thanks bread pudding man. It was also expensive, luckily I wasn't paying.“
“The staff at this establishment is professional and pleasant, ensuring a positive experience for customers. The sandwiches/salads served are delicious, satisfying the taste buds of patrons. Additionally, the service provided is quick, allowing customers to enjoy their meals in a timely manner.“
“This is a great place to eat & socialize with family & friends!! The staff is amazing & the food/ beverages are top notch! I can’t say enough good things about our experience with an after hours work event! Thank you all so much for making our evening so much fun! We will be back & will continue to have events at this establishment!“
“Came here after Joe Cain day and for the super bowl.Inside had over an hour wait, which was to be expected but was able to sit outside immediately. My date is from New Orleans and was impressed with the spice of the red beans and rice.I had the Gulf Shrimp and fries basketEven with the amount of people, the food came out super quick. Staff was pleasantThe only drawback was there was only 3 sides: fries, Coleslaw and baked beans. Some kind of greenery would've been nice“
“Fish 'n chips and porter on a cool rainy day in Mobile. Whats not to love!I've spent a decent amount of time in the UK and Ireland. The fish at Iron Hand reminds me of fish I've had from the corner shop in St George's Market in Belfast, and the design/styling of the pub here is an appropriately modern version of pubs I've visited across the Republic of Ireland,“
“Food and service was great... place was almost full parking is limited but we did find a spot and the spots are the right size .. not to tight ... easy to park and get in and out of the car...we had a great time. I plan on going back ....Kid-friendliness: The waitress was super... she didn't rush us and checked on us often“
“Love the salad at this Foo ❤️ The lettuce and tomatoes are always fresh and appetizing. The bacon topping is crispy. The chicken strips are always perfectly done. The presentation is always mouth-watering. Thank you Foo Crew for an appetizing and delicious salad.“
“Third visit and I decided to do food. I've heard from souls inside and out about the Wings, and in general, their food. I decided to tru the Wings, if a bar messes up wings then, the rest is a sheet show. We had the opportunity to be taken care of by Elise, she pays attention to all her guests all whilst having conversations and the best part is that she remembers her guests names and makes it a point to build some rapport. It's the small things that matter in a BIG way! The Wings were juicy and flavorful, all that talk turned out to be true!, awesome! The whole establishment quite unique, strewn with dollar bills stuck to the walls and...each one has a Note Written on it. If you pay attention, there are so many stories being told in this bar. The feel is divey and at the same time it's not, this is difficult to pull off! I will say this! These are the BEST WINGS MOBILE! They are fresh, not frozen, the sauces are delicious (it has depth and umami) and the size of the wings are value for your money. Next meal here will be a Burger . Stay tuned for the consensus! They have 5 Burgers with limitless combinations.“
“The Dew Drop Inn is a culinary gem nestled in the heart of Mobile, Alabama, boasting a legacy as the oldest restaurant in the area. Renowned for its world-famous hotdogs, this establishment is a haven for food enthusiasts seeking a taste of tradition with a dash of innovation. From the moment you step through the doors, the inviting ambiance and friendly staff make you feel right at home. The menu, though centered around their iconic hotdogs, offers a diverse array of options to suit every palate. Each dish is meticulously crafted using the finest ingredients, ensuring a gastronomic experience that is second to none. The hotdogs themselves are a work of art, perfectly grilled and bursting with flavor. Whether you opt for a classic dog with mustard and relish or indulge in one of their gourmet creations, every bite is a revelation. The attention to detail extends beyond the cuisine, with impeccable service and a charming atmosphere that enhances the dining experience. Whether you're a local or just passing through, a visit to the Dew Drop Inn is a must for anyone who appreciates good food and warm hospitality. Without a doubt, it earns a five-star rating and a permanent place on my list of favorite restaurants.“
“Tried this for a quick lunch and was not disappointed. The interior is nothing special and comes across as just a fast food restaurant. You order at the counter and service your own drinks. This is fine for a quick lunch. The service at the counter was friendly and helpful A++. The food was very reasonable, I ordered grilled fish and shrimp which came with 2 sides for about $10. It included grilled onions and peppers and a small “salad”. Everything was delicious and I will be back.“
“Service was quick. Food is tasty. Open style floor with several tables out front. Great place for breakfast or brunch. Closes at 3:00 though. It's very similar to other high end breakfast venues. Prices are also similar. (It's not a cheap breakfast but the quality isn't cheap either).“
“On Sunday i brought my daughter, her husband and my two grandson's in for lunch. We were seated outside so the boys could play. Our server was Skylar and she was fantastic!!. She kept our drinks full and gave us great service! We will definitely ask for Skylar when we come back! The club sandwiches and burger were great!! RTRParking: Plenty of parking!“
“So we were in town for a show at the civic center. We originally were going to eat at Loda across the street. But that place was a **** show. So we walked across to TPs. We were immediately greeted by one of the waitresses, told we would be seated shortly. Very shortly was seated with Courtney. She was very friendly and knowledgable about the menu. We asked for drinks and they were perfect. It was about 5 o’clock and not so busy, but out of no where(assuming from the show) it got super busy. The owner was an elderly gentleman that reminded me of my pops and came to greet us. Super awesome to see him helping the wait staff too which is super uncommon. Food was really good. We ordered a Philly and jambalaya pasta with queso and chips. Soooo goood!!! The drinks were delicious. I am only writing this review because of two things. 1. The wait staff and restaurant handled getting busy like an absolute pro!!! 2. Because we were originally going to Lodas across the street because I read the reviews and was like they seem like that got something going on over there. Boy was I glad we gave this place a shot. 11/10“
“Every item I've ordered has been delicious. Large portions. They serve every thing from southern cuisine to seafood. They serve a special each day of the week. Serving staff are extremely friendly and efficient. I would recommend this restaurant to everyone.Wheelchair accessibility: Fully accessible.“
“My first time there, took my daughter there with me. I had the Curry Chicken with Mac & cheese, she had the J*** Chicken with cabbage. The food was delicious & the young man serving the food by himself had such a great attitude & we will be back...“
“I had only heard tales of this magical place, but wasn't sure what I was getting myself into when I arrived. I didn't see the name posted on any plaque outside the building, however, the vibe felt right even before entering. The lights were as low as the hum of casual conversations floating through the air. I was greeted with a smile as if I was an old friend, and a seat was made for me at the bar in an instant. With plenty of room to mingle, dance, ample seating, a fairly large stage and all the expected accouterment adorning it's perimeter, this was certainly a chill place to party. 10 out of 10. Would recommend.“
“I got my nails done next door and was starving! Ordered wings to go and they were delicious! I got lemon pepper. I don't usually eat fries but they came with my order. Fries were scrumptious also. Enough food for 2 days. I will definitely be ordering again!“
“Real good food and great service. These days there are so many food places to choose from, but what makes a big difference to me is not only the food, but also good service..... Tops Food Truck have good food, and real great service yall. I Highly recommend.“
“Ordered tavern pizza & a mojito. The mojito was nothing but sugar & water. Too sweet to drink without going into diabetic coma (I'm not diabetic). Sent it back & 2nd one was better but still no liquor taste & too much sugar. Pizza was good. Guest ordered steak & it was good. We were never asked if we wanted water nor dessert. Service could have been better“
“We finally got to eat at the new location. Got 2 steamed combos and fried shrimp and oysters. The garlic butter was either a little spicy or they put the wrong seasoning. Shrimp and crab were a little hard to peel. However, overall, everything was very tasty. Prices were very good also. Restaurant was very clean. They were very busy but service was fast and friendly. They have indoor dining available, but we brought ours home. I would recommend K&D for sure.“
“Oh My God.....I Don't Eat Pork By Choice But THAT Pork Chop Special with them Red Beans and Rice... Making me reconsider OMG.... sike but they mad me break a Ten year fast from PORK But I don't care that Plate was Gooooooood I'm talking Goooooooood ?????“
“This place is FANTASTIC!! The food is absolutely delicious! The server that took care of me was extremely nice and polite. The banana pudding is just MIND BLOWING!! Its absolutely DELICIOUS!! 1000% reccomend anyone to come here and have lunch or dinner!“
“First time ever going was last night with my Ole lady and some friends, and was quite disappointed there weren't more people in there, it had everything to be inviting, and regardless we will be back, for sure recommend giving this place a “
“Love this place!!! Great atmosphere and people in the bar. You can either order food at the bar or order food at places around the bar. The owners Mike and Benay are very welcoming. After your first time there they will remember what you drink and your name. Not many places I can say that about! Once you go a few times they consider you a regular and you feel like it's similar to the "cheer bar" where everyone knows your name. All I can say is don't let your first impression be your only impression. Overall the customers and the owners make the experience with coming back“
“Can't help it...waffle is our go-to so many times, For Years!, Decades!? this was a bit of a somber time, & friends were there too.. ?thanks WH for every memory, bdays, anniversaries, & after any thing else we need to commemorate“
“There's no denying that this is the "class act" dining destination of Mobile, from the beautiful view 34 stories high to the pianist playing light jazz during our Sunday brunch, no doubt they have alot to offer. Which is why I was so very disappointed to have the waitress reach over me to retrieve the bread basket as I was eating! Literally her armpit was at my nose while I was putting a bite of food into my mouth. So when I asked her if you must she replied in a sparky tone "yes I must" and did it a second time. I had expected them to have had better training than that. Otherwise our experience was perfectly delightful. The food was okay yet a good value for the price, with some creative combinations we enjoyed. When we do go back we'll avoid that light brown haired waitress and hope the others are properly trained and she was just learning.“
