I work nearby and this place has been my "go to" for months. The food is so very affordable and so very delicious. The chips are thin and crispy exactly the way I like, and everything I've tried has been good. The service is friendly and competent. I walk and usually get my food to go.
Best Mexican food ever! Will drive 4-5 hours from Louisiana to eat here and make a day of it. Grew up eating Cuco’s in Slidell, and Hammond. Once those two locations closed I would drive all the way to Metairie and then Gretna. Sad to see the owners move away and close the locations in Louisiana but I understand wanting to move out of state completely. I dream about Macho Nachos and Chimipoquitos with the green sauce.
